" And you say this body just appeared out of nowhere" The police officer asked Maggie.
" Yes, and it's eyes just shot open" Maggie said, her voice was still trembling.
Frank boroughs her some sweet tea.
" Were where you Mr Sawyer" the officer asked.
" I was asleep until I heard my wife screaming to call the police" Frank explained.
Another police officer, a women in her thirties, popped out from the side of the house.
" No sign of a body, and the neighbors said they saw nothing" the officer said.
The officer looked at Maggie with his dull grey eyes. " Mrs Sawyer, I will have you know that making a false claim like this is illegal."
" But, I am serious, there was a body" Maggie said defensively.
" Now look, I am not saying you're lying, it is just there is no evidence there was ever a body" The officer explained.
Before Maggie could say anything else, Frank whispered " There is no point in trying to tell them. They don't believe you".
Maggie decided that Frank was right, and told the officer she was sorry, and that she might have saw something else, or someone was playing a prank on her.
The male officer with the grey eyes just gave a " humph", and told his partner it was time to wrap it up and leave.
.....
Early the next morning Frank went out to the backyard with a shovel. He had forgotten where he had buried the board, so he ended up digging holes all over the back yard until he finally found the board buried near the pool.
Frank held the board in his hands. It was hard to believe the Ouija board could possibly end up solving all of the problems happening at his home.
Frank turned around, and was got off guard when he came face to face with an elderly man with an English cap.
" You must be Irwin Grubs, my wife Maggie told me about you. I want to say thank you for your help with the garden. It looks really nice" Frank said.
Grubs seemed to be glaring at the board Frank was holding. " No problem, your wife is a very nice lady." Grubs complimented.
" Yes she is" Frank replied.
Grubs folded his arms. " Mr Sawyer, why where you digging up the yard?"
" Oh, I was just landscaping a bit. Yep I want to put a fountain in the backyard." Frank replied quickly. He was sure Irwin would not believe him if he told him the truth, and his motivation. He probably would think he is crazy.
" Ok Mr Sawyer, but would you mind staying away from the purple flowers." Grubs pointed at a flower bed full of purple flowers. " They remind me of my late wife."
" Ya sure, I'm sorry for your lost." Frank said as he hurried back into the house.
Grubs watched Frank go into the house, before attending to the garden.
....
" Look Saul, I am telling it was Allison I saw. I think she is the one haunting the house, and that her sister Bethany had possessed this doll that Sara has." Frank said over the phone, but whispered so Maggie could not here.
" Wow, your house has a history of people dying" Saul said. He explained that he found out that over the years, other families who lived in the house where either scared away, killed, or somewhere killed and somewhere scared away.
" So it could be a matter of time before I am bumped off by some ghost. Frank said, he bit his lips. " Is there anyone I can talk to in order to get answers?"
Saul paused for a bit. ". Have you met a Irwin and Irene Grubs?" Saul asked.
" I have talked to Irwin, Irene is dead" Frank said.
" Okay, probably talk to that guy. He has even a groundskeeper for your property for over 40!years, he must have saw something?"
Frank thanked Saul. He decided to question Irwin later, but now he needed to talk to Allison.
....
Maggie, and Sara had gone to Maggie mom for a couple of hours, so Frank had the entire house to himself.
He placed the Ouji board on the kitchen table. He heard the doorbell ring. He got up to answer it.
Saul was standing outside, munching on a breakfast bar.
" Are you ready for this. Ya know to contact the undead" Frank asked.
" Ready, as much as you can be for this sort of thing." Saul said
Frank had googled how to use the Oija board. There where numbers 0 - 9, and the words yes and goodbye. Basically you move the triangular piece, it is called a blanched, over one of the numbers or letters. You won't do it consciously, your subconscious will answer the questions
Saul, and Frank sat around the table, and held each other's hand. Frank was not sure on what to say, so Saul started.
" Oh great spirit, why are you haunting my brothers house." Saul said.
The blanched did not move.
Saul tried again. " Is there any spirits to talk to?" He asked.
Suddenly the blanchett moved to the words goodbye. The middle of the blanchett had words on it that read YOUR NOT SARA,Goodbye.
Before the words disapeared, something shattered the kitchen window, and smacked Saul in the head.
Saul screeched in pain, and dropped to his knees. A lot of blood began to gush from his skull. Frank found a rock on the floor, covered in blood.
Frank looked outside, but saw no one. Who ever flung the rock was now gone.
