Lauren walked into the crowded school that smelled of teenage hormones and stress. She dreaded walking through these halls everyday but she had to. Lauren kept her head down in the crowd walking to the library. As she walked, two people bumped into her causing her to fall to the ground. Lauren looked up to see two faces she absolutely despised. Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. "Watch, where you're going freak" Ariana said. "How dare you think you're able to bump into us like that" Taylor said. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you okay, just leave me alone" Lauren spat. Taylor pushed Lauren into the lockers beside them and held her forearm against her neck. "Don't you ever talk back to us with that tone or at all" Ariana spoke to her coldly. "Ari, come on" Sean said looking at Lauren. Ariana took a glance at her boyfriend but quickly turned to give Lauren a quick smack to the face. "Little bi-" Lauren tried to say but was cut off by the lack of air she was receiving from Taylor's grasp. "Huh, Lauren, I can't hear you" Ariana said melodramatically. "Ariana, leave her alone girl" Sean said frantically. Taylor let go of Lauren causing Ariana to turn around and walk away from the situation. Sean watched the girls leave and turned to the green eyed girl who now had a red tint on her cheek. "Listen, I'm sorry about her, she gets like that a lot" Sean said. "Sean, please don't act like you care, you only care about your reputation and not getting your coach angry at you" Lauren said feeling the bruise on her face. "Hey, I was just trying to help you" Sean said holding his hands up. Lauren rolled her eyes and continued her route to the library with her head hanging low. She looked up sometimes to see some people stare at the bruise forming on her face. She began walking faster to get away from the stares and everyone else. Unfortunately, this was just another day in Lauren's life, bullying, neglect, abuse, self-doubt, it was all the aspects in life that Lauren went through everyday. Although, it never seemed to affect her like some people hoped or thought it would.

"Kaki, come on, I'm going to be late for the field trip!!" Sofia whined. Camila pulled over her Ed Sheeran sweatshirt and took her backpack from the floor. She signaled for her sister to come along and they ran down the stairs where their busy parents were 'eating' breakfast. "Bye Papi, Bye Mommy" Sofia said. Camila just waved like she's always has since 6 months ago when she stopped talking. Their Dad slightly waved back while focusing on whatever he was doing on his laptop. Camila sighed and held her sister close to her while they walked to the bus stop. Camila took out her phone and checked the time to see it was already 7:30. The bus slowed down to where they were standing and Camila quickly swiped her card to enter the bus. They sat down and Sofia stared out the window while the bus started to drive away. A tiny buzzing sensation started in Camila's pocket. She took out her phone to see a couple messages from the group chat she was put in.
