“Where were you going, Scar?” Ace breathes, smirking like he’s been dying to do this all morning.
Might as well not lie. “I was going to hot wire your car and drive back to California, grab all my cash, fly to Europe, live there for a couple weeks, and then drink myself to death.”
His smirk drops. “That’s not funny.”

+I was reading book 4 of the Awakening , but because of I don't want to end it too soon (haha I do like the story that I don't want it to end, though 'yun na talaga ang huling book and besides I'm no longer threaten of couldn't read it anymore 'coz the very kind author's herself give me the digital copies of her books, amazing right?! 😘😍 She had other stories that you may want to check, I just wanted first to lessen the number of stories stored on my library/archive 😑 before I jumped on her other stories)... I look for another story to be busied on and this was it. Nice story, don't have so much longer twist of events. Instead of silver, she used bronze that could affect vampires. She didn't follows the common/basics info 'bout vampires. Haha. But like what she said on her author's note, it's her story and she had all the rights to do/write what she wants. Don't argue with her 'coz she's absolutely right. 😄
