Parker's P.O.V
From the corner of my eye, I watched as Amber drifted off to sleep in the seat next to me.
She was really cute, but...I saw Joy and Grayson looking at me as if they expected it so, I refused to stare at her.
I glanced down at my phone screen instead  and pulled up my music app.
I put on the Weekend and leaned back in my seat. I stared out the window and wondered what would happen if I tried to get into Amber's mind a little more once she woke up....

"Amber," Joy whispered in Amber's ear as she gently shook her shoulder.

"Hmm?" Amber slowly opened her eyes and yawned. She looked up at Joy.

"We're here. Grab your stuff and let's go."

Amber turned and looked at me. "Did I sleep the whole ride?"

I nodded. "All eight hours."

She blinked. "Wow. I didn't know I was that tired."

"You didn't sleep last night, so it makes sense." Joy shrugged.

"Oh, yeah...I guess I didn't." she stood, stretched and grabbed her backpack from the floor.

Slinging it onto her shoulder, she followed Joy off of the train.

I bent down and grabbed my backpack.

"So, are you guys dating yet?"

I rolled my eyes. "Grayson, please."

"Didn't she look hot when she was asleep?"

"I didn't stare at her," I replied simply.

"You know you wanted to," he teased

"Go away," I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, okay!" he laughed. "I'll stop....For now. Just don't miss your opportunity."

"I don't know that she's interested. Did you see how she wouldn't answer my simple question?"

"What question?" he asked as we stepped off the train and walked towards the group.

"I asked her what her passions were. She seemed to be defensive about it so, I just let it go. But, it was so weird."

"Eh. Girls are weird. Don't think too much into it." he shrugged. "So, what are the plans for the rest of the day?"

I glanced at my watch. "It's about three thirty so, I imagine we're going to check into a hotel and relax."

"Awesome. Movie night with the girls." Grayson smirked and raised his eyebrows up and down.

"Grayson, no." I shoved him, not appreciating his implied humor. "That reminds me.... You and Joy seemed to still be as close as ever. You talked the whole way."

"She's so nice," he grinned.

"Right," I replied teasingly.

"We'd better get the rest of our luggage off the train," he changed the subject.

"Okay,"

We got back on board and took our suitcases from the shelf above our seats.
Suddenly, I realized I was missing something.

I patted my pockets.

Nothing.

I threw my backpack onto one of the seats and ripped it opened, frantically searching for the missing item.
Grayson had already walked halfway down the aisle-way before realizing I wasn't following. He retracted. "Are you okay, man?"
