Chapter 69- 8 months

I adjusted my shirt over my 8 month pregnant belly, it was small compared to my pregnancy with the twins. Niall ran over to me, "Do you need help?" "No honey I'm fine" I said smiling. He assisted me downstairs before tending to the twins who were already two. They seemed to be getting so old so fast. Niall brought Ariel down in a cute outfit which consisted of a pair of skinny jeans and a floral shirt and Liam in a polo and pants "Ready for your appointment?" I nodded and we walked to the car with Niall and the kids to go to my OBGYN appointment. We decided to keep the gender of the baby a surprise; we've picked out possible names for a girl or boy. My appointments were becoming more frequent due to only having a month of pregnancy left. We were both anxious. Di and I were having so much fun picking out more baby stuff, she had 2 months left.

"Everything seems to be coming along fantastically" my doctor said smiling, and pulling off the rubber latex gloves. "I can't believe how big Liam and Ariel are!" she said looking at the two. "I know, it seems like it was just yesterday I had them and now I'm having another!" "They're so cute too! If your third one looks anything like them your gonna have to beat away the boys and girls coming for them! They're going to be good looking" I giggled and nodded. Niall helped me up, we scheduled the next appointment and went out to lunch with the twins. "Mommy baby in tummy" Liam said pointing to my large stomach. "Yup. And pretty soon you guys are gonna have a little brother or sister!" Ariel grinned and took a bite of her food.

After we finished eating we took the kids to the car and Niall helped me into the passenger seat. I placed a hand on my stomach as the baby kicked. I laughed and smiled down at my protruding stomach. Only a month left before our third little angel entered our lives. As Niall pulled into our drive way, we noticed a familiar car parked there. I curiously got out of the car and carried Ariel into the house while Niall carried Liam in. As soon as he opened the front door, I saw Maura sitting on our couch "Mom!" I said hurrying over to her. "Hi honey, how are you? Oh my look at that belly!" She said hugging me. She hugged Niall and kissed him on his cheek. "What are you doing here?" he asked placing Liam on the floor. "I figured you guys could use some help with the expectancy so close , maybe a night out and need a baby sitter" "That was very thoughtful, thank you " I said carefully sitting on the couch. "I wanted to be here for the birth this time! The whole family does!" Niall glanced at me and I smiled giving a slight smile "Tell them to come!" he said.

A few weeks later a couple of Nialls cousins, dad,stepdad, brother and other family members flew to London to be here for when the baby is born. His cousins and dad stayed in a hotel. Greg, Denise and Theo stayed in one of our guest bedrooms as did Maura and Nialls stepdad. It was very crowded. Nialls cousins, Denise, Di and I all went out shopping for more baby supplies and to get lunch. I felt a sharp pain in my stomach and cringed "Are you ok" Nialls cousin Emma asked. I felt something wet drip down my legs. "Um hey guys, how about instead of lunch we go to the hospital?" I asked with a half smile. "Oh my god!!" they all screamed and helped me to the car, I sat in the back holding Emma and Di's hands while Denise drove to the hospital. "Someone call Niall!" I said suddenly. I couldn't reach my phone so I grabbed Di's from her and called Niall. "hey-" he began answering. "Ni, its me. My water just broke!" "Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm on my way right now. Where are my keys? I'll be there soon. Don't have the baby without me!" I giggled "Don't worry. I won't!" Soon enough we reached the hospital. Di called the girlfriends  to let them know. Niall ran into the hospital just as they put me in a wheel chair to take me to the room. All of the other gathered in the waiting room . I was assisted into changing into a hospital gown and the nurse checked me over. "Well your already 4 cm dialated so it could happen quick, or it could take a while so just be prepared!" she said smiling before leaving. "I can't believe were about to have another baby" Niall said. "Do you think it's gonna be a girl or boy?" I asked.
