Dipper's (POV)

As me and Mabel walked down the street, I had a feeling that something was wrong. Very wrong. Little do I know.

*BANG*

*BANG*

*BANG*

Me and Mabel then heard gun shots coming from Wendy's apartment building. Mabel and I shared a look of concern. Then a scary thought came to mind. If the sound came from Wendy's apartment building than...

"Oh my god, Wendy!" I shouted.

*CLICK*

I turn around to see Tambry, Thompson, Lee, and Nate holding guns. I gulped and went to grab my gun. But I wasn't fast enough.

*BANG*

"Aghhhhhhhhh!" I got shot in the arm. I hold my arm in pain and spoke up.

"Mabel, go!" Mabel goes to run. I see Lee getting ready to shoot her, but I pull out my gun with my other hand and fired first.

*BANG*

I shot Lee in the leg, and he went down. It was enough to get Mabel to safety. She ran behind a building. I sigh and Nate spoke up.

"Let's hurry this up, I don't want to upset Robbie again." My eyes went wide hearing that name. Robbie, the name of Wendy's boyfriend. I grunted and fired my gun again. This time at Nate.

*BANG*

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" I shot him in the stomach, and he went down. Thompson gasps and fires at me.

*BANG*

I jump out of the way before he fired and I summer salt out landing on my knee. I point my gun at Thompson and fired.

*BANG*

He went down with out a sound. Tambry started to get cold feet and ran. I decided to let her go. Lee gets up in pain and soon followed her, and left me alone. I pant out of breathe and call over to Mabel.

"Mabel, it's safe now!" She then came running to my side, seeing if I was injured. She put her hands on my wounds to try and stop the bleeding.

"Dipper, are you okay?" She asked concerned.

"I'm fine, just in pain." I then remembered that Wendy was in danger.

"Mabel, Wendy is in trouble! Come on!" She nodded before we went running back to Wendy's home. Soon we are at her front door. I start to knock and bang on her door.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Wendy, are you okay? Open up!" I yelled. Nothing. I was praying that Wendy would come opening the door, and everything would be okay. I waited but nothing. I then decided something was definitely wrong. I lift up my foot and kick down the door.

*BOOM*

What I saw on the ground set a chill down my spin. Wendy was down on the ground, bleeding badly. My eyes filled with tears, and streamed down my face.

"Wendy!" I shout in sadness. I ran over to Wendy's side and turned her to face me. I lightly slapped her face to wake up her. Nothing. I shake her. Nothing. I nudged her. Still nothing. Lifeless... if I thought I was crying before, nothing could have prepared me for crying a river.

"Wendy, please wake up! I need you, I love you! Don't give up on me!" I shout. I turn over to Mabel and spoke up.

"Mabel, we have to get Wendy to the hospital!" I pick Wendy up, and Mabel holds the front door open for us. We ran out of the house and down the street to the hospital. The whole time I was praying that God won't let her die yet. As we ran, I saw she was shot in the shoulder, stomach, and her head. Once I saw the head wound, I thought I was already too late. I stopped running, and fell to my knees with Wendy in my arms. Mabel pats my back as I cried. I closed my eyes, and put my head down on her stomach.

*THUMP* *THUMP*

I opened my eyes to the sound of her heart beat. My tears of sadness became tears of joy. She may be hurt, but she's alive. Meaning I have to hurry. I get up from the ground and start running again.

"Hold on Wendy, you're going to be okay!" I held her tighter in my arms as we ran to the hospital.
