Dipper's (POV)

I decided to start asking around the club, seeing if any of the teenagers heard or saw anything that can help my case. I got out my pen and notebook, and made my way to the crowds of teens. My first stop was at a round table, with four teens there. One was a girl with pink and purple hair. Another was a blond haired guy, and beside him was a guy with tattoos on his arm. And finally, a over weight guy with a tennis shirt on. They were all laughing, talking, and telling jokes. But I noticed that the girl was wearing very expensive looking jewelry. Looks like I got my first suspects. I walked up to the teens, and spoke up.

"Excuse me, might I talk to you for a second?" I flipped my notepad paper.

"Depends, who we talking to?" The blond asked. I pulled out my police badge, and spoke up again.

"Detective Dipper Pines, and I'm investigating a robbery that happened at the museum last night. And I'm here to ask you a few questions." Their faces turned white when I explained everything to them. One of them offered me a seat, which I gladly took.

"Might I ask you, your names?"

"Our names are Lee, Nate, Tambry, and Thompson." The over weight one said, pointing at each teen. I nodded and wrote down the names. I turned over at Nate and he gave me a weird glare. I squinted my eyes at him, as a way of saying, I know you're hiding something. He was the first one I talked to.

"So Nate was it? Where were you last night." I asked him.

"I was with my friends."

"Then where were all of you last night?"

"We were hanging out at Thompson's place." Nate replied. I nodded, not fully convinced that he was telling the truth.

"Alright well, thank you for your time." I put my note pad away, and walked over to the bar. When I got there, I found Mabel talking to a teenage girl. Must be asking her questions.

"Alright well, thank you anyway." She turned away from the girl, and faced me.

"Hey bro, sorry about running off. I wanted to get to work right away." She explained.

"Or to get boys phone numbers." I smirked.

"Haha, very funny bro-bro." We shared a smile, before someone walked on the stage of the hang out, and grabbed the microphone.

"Okay everyone, please give a warm welcome, to our next singer. Miss. Wendy Corduroy." He said the name of the singer like his voice was sailing through an ocean of silk. The stage lights came on, and shined on the curtains. Some of the guys already began to whistle, and cheer. I shook my head, and looked back at the stage. There I saw the silhouette of a girl figure, before I heard singing.

"If you got romance on your mind."

"If you'd like to stroll hand in hand."

"If you want to cuddle in the moonlight."

"And whisper, ain't love grand?"

I then saw a red headed girl in a red and golden dress come out from behind the curtains. She had black gloves that went all the way up her arms on, plus golden earrings. When I first saw her, my heart was beating a million miles per hour. And her singing wasn't helping, but sure was rich and soft.

"If you want someone to buy that sweet talk."

"That you guys all love to spout."

"Baby, count me out."

She paused for a second, as the guys howled and cheered for her. Awhile the other girls in the hang out just sat at their seats, with unimpressed looks on their faces.

"If you want to dance, cheek to cheek."

"Then go home, and talk all night long."

She then pulled out a rose from out of nowhere, and throw it off the stage. I then caught it, as she continues to sing.

"If you want to send somebody flowers."

"And share, a stupid song."

"If you want a woman who believes that, you're what her life's all about."

"Baby, count me out."

She then walks off the stage over to me. I blush as she continues to sing as she walks over to me.

"I've been there, I've done that."

"It's nowhere, it's old hat."

She then winks at me, and puts her hand under my chin and pulls me close to her, as she finished the line.

"Forget those thoughts, you're thinking mister."

"And just regard me as your sister."

She then pulls her hand away, and my chin falls on the bar counter, as she walks away. I could tell that she put a little sway in her walk.

"If you want to send Valentines."

"If you want to write poetry."

"Here's a little change, go call somebody who doesn't look like me."

"And if you got plans to fall in love."

"Without a shadow of a doubt."

"Baby, count me out."

"That's what I said."

"I said, Baby!"

"Count me out."

She then walks back to the stage and walks back to the curtains.

"Hound dog."

And with that she was gone, and the guys were going nuts. I fell out my seat, as Mabel spoke up.

"She was pretty good wasn't she?" She asks me. I wasn't listening, I was too busy drowning in love. She then pulls me back on to my seat, and spoke up again.

"You okay bro-bro? You seem out of it."

"Huh?" Oh yeah, yeah!" I then got an idea, and decided to put it to use.

"Hey listen, I'll be right back." I get out of my seat as Mabel calls to me.

"Where are you going?"

"To ask our performer some questions." Half of that was true. I walk away from the bar, and walk to the back stage, to find the little red headed singer in bloom.
