The train ride to Tokyo was long and boring to Yuu. He couldn't believe that he had let his father drag him into following him to see his girl friend Erika. He wanted to stay back, this was an opportunity to be all alone at home and have some peace and quiet but sadly no, and the person to blame was none other than his to be step brother Mikaela Shindo. His father had told him that Mika begged for him to come so they could spend time together. Yuu didn't want to be anywhere near Mika, it had been over a week and his ears still hurt from all the roughing up. He really wasn't looking forward to being with Mika.
"Tokyo is great Yuu, I'm telling you you'll love it." Teppei said.
"I doubt it." Yuu said. "All I'll be doing is sitting down bored to death in their house with my so called step brother harassing me."
"Oh son, Mika won't harass you." Teppei said. "He's very happy having you as a brother, he wants to get closer to you, get to know you better, at least give him that chance."
"Whatever." Yuu responded as he covered his ears with a headset, at least he could listen to some music before they got to their destination. He hoped they arrived quickly so his phone battery wouldn't die.
✨
"Good afternoon. You must be Mr Teppei Hyakuya and Yuichiro Hyakuya, I am the chauffeur of madam Erika and I am here to take you to her."
Yuu stared at the man dressed in a suit and wore what resembled a police cap. He was shocked and amazed, he didn't know that his father's girl had a chauffeur, he didn't even know the meaning of the word chauffeur until his father explained it to him. His eyes averted over to stare at the also very impressive black vehicle, it made him wonder just who exactly Erika was.
They got into the car and drove off, it was a short drive from the subway to Erika's place. Yuu's mouth dropped at the sight before him, a large gate and inside that gate, a mansion stood tall and proud. His father definitely missed out on the fact that his bride to be was filthy rich.
"Who the hell is this woman?"
✨
"Teppei, Yuu, welcome." Erika walked over to the men and embraced them welcoming them to her home.
As if the outside wasn't impressing enough, the inside literally took Yuu's breath away. High ceilings, marble floors, glass stained windows, it resembled a palace, the ones Yuu often saw in films.
"Welcome to Tokyo Yuu." Erika said to him. "I hope you like it here."
So far he was, Yuu wasn't going to deny it. One look around and he could tell that he was going to enjoy this place.
"Yuu, Erika and I will be living now to discuss the details of our marriage." Teppei said.
"You can enjoy yourself in the living room." Erika said. "There's television with many channels to pick from, you can also play games too if you want. If you're hungry the kitchen is in the other room, there's plenty of goodies in the fridge but if you want homemade cooking then do tell the chef, he'll cook something up for you."
They had a chef?
Well that wasn't the most important thing at the moment, the most important thing was the game, he was definitely going to help himself to it but first he would see what treats lies in the fridge.
"Mika isn't around right now, he's in his book club meeting and won't be back until much later." Erika said again.
Yuu had to find the restraint to hold himself from leaping for joy hearing the news that Mika wasn't at home, that was a bonus to everything.
