Chapter 17

Yuu didn't want to let go.

Holding Mika tightly in his arms felt so right, this was where Mika belonged, no where else. That's what Yuu wanted to tell Erika but he couldn't, he didn't have the power or right to hold Mika back from seeing his father. Today was worse than the other days, with permission from school, Mika was excused to attend a two week lasting event hosted by the Shindos in Tokyo. He would be staying with his father all through, that meant that Yuu wouldn't see Mika for over two weeks. Torture.

"Yuu-chan I should go." Mika said.

Yuu left him. "Must you? Two weeks?"

Mika smiled. "I'll be back before you know it Yuu-chan and we can always talk anytime we want to."

"Mika, time to go." Erika called.

"I should go now." They hugged one more time before Mika left the room.

Two hours in and Yuu felt like he was going to die, for godsake two whole weeks without Mika, it was going to be boring. He would have no one to talk to except Yoichi but that wasn't going to be always. At night when he got home and was all alone, he would think only about Mika and might have a hard time sleeping. An idea came to his mind and he was going to go for it. He picked his phone and sent a text to Yoichi who gave an immediate response.

He asked for a two week sleepover and Yoichi agreed to it ecstatically.

'Where should we stay? Lets stay at yours, it would be nice to get away for the time being' - Yoichi

'Home reminds me of Mika so no, we'll stay at yours' - Yuu

'Fine then. We'll stay at my grandmas, not far away. It's kind of country like and gives a really good nostalgic feeling.' - Yoichi

'Sure, as long as it isn't far from school' - Yuu

They set everything up, Yuu would pack and Yoichi would come get him later in the day. Yuu got started immediately, he wanted to leave as soon as he could so his mind wouldn't be so fixated on Mika. His phone rang, it was a text from...

"Mika." He picked it up without delay. Mika just told him that he had arrived and he already missed him. Yuu missed him too, he wished the two weeks would hurry up and be done.

Yoichi's grandmum lived in an old style Japanese home, not the small kind but the kind royal families and rich yakuzas would live in. Yuu was impressed at how an old woman made such money on her own with no help from any family members, building up her own wealth and name. Yuu and Yoichi shared a room together so they could spend time talking.

"Two weeks? Yuu-kun will probably miss Mika-kun a lot." Yoichi smiled. "I understand the feeling, I've spent over a month not seeing Shiho, it was total torture."

"It's different, you and Kimizuki are lovers, Mika and I aren't."

"Really Yuu-kun?" Yoichi smirked and Yuu understood perfectly what he was insinuating. He grabbed a pillow and attacked him.

"BROTHERS! BROTHERS BROOOOOOTHEEEEERS."

Shinoa was finally back to school and everyone was happy seeing her even Yuu. He was really getting worried, skipping school for over two weeks because of a broken heart, Yuu was concerned, he felt guilty of committing a crime. He wanted to visit her and check for himself how she was doing but Mika had refused him going telling him that if she saw him, it could hurt her more so he didn't go.
