Chapter 16

Many days had passed and Shinoa still hadn't come to school. Mitsuba kept telling everyone that she wasn't feeling well but that wasn't the truth behind it, she was still heartbroken from Yuu's rejection.

"I really hope she's ok." Yuu said. Sangu-san is keeping a close eye on her but I still can't believe she's this hurt. I thought she said she was ok with it."

"It's called a front Yuu-kun."

"Should I go see her?"

"NO!" Mika snapped. Yoichi and Yuu were shocked by his sudden outburst. "She should get over herself, you said no and that won't change. You owe her nothing Yuu-chan, talking with her will solve nothing."

"I agree with Mika-kun. Shinoa-san needs to get through this without Yuu-kun seeing her." Yoichi said. "Let's ignore her for now and focus on other things, like me for example. Guys I'm so thrilled now that Shiho has told that girl about us."

Yoichi had mentioned it many times to Yuu and Mika and they were tired of hearing it. Kimizuki told Yayoi everything, from her actions he knew she didn't take the news well. She hadn't spoken to Kimizuki since then, even when he came over to her family restaurant, she ignored him. He didn't care that much about it but he felt a little bad that he had lost a good friend. He felt she was possibly never one in the first place, a good friend would understand rather than going full blown silent treatment on the other.

The bells rang signalling that lunch was over. A sound of joy for Mika and Yuu because they didn't know if they could manage listening to Yoichi any longer. They made their way to class and once again Mika was left on his own, he watched as Yuu and Yoichi walked together still talking. He felt left out and he didn't like the feeling at all. He already knew what he had to do to no longer feel lonely, either he helped Yoichi and Yuu with their grades making them get into class A or he purposely flunk and end up in the class they're in.

"LET ME GO!" Mitsuba tried escaping Narumi, he suddenly came into her classroom and dragged her out. "Let go you creep."

"Take me to her." Narumi said.

"You're crazy." She yelled.

Narumi was extremely worried, Shinoa hadn't been to school for days and it frightened him. He just wanted proof that she was ok, being told she's fine by Mitsuba everyday wasn't enough. He wanted to see her for himself.

"Please Mitsuba, I just want to know that she's alright."

"What is wrong with you?" Mitsuba stopped struggling knowing it would be hard escaping him. "Why her? You couldn't fall in love with anybody else? It's not going to happen. She's a Hiiragi and you're a-"

"I'm a nobody, I know." He said. "I love Shinoa and I'm aware it's almost impossible to have her but I still want to know that she's doing fine. I care a lot about her."

"I would never let anything happen to her." Mitsuba said. "She's my friend and I care about her too, I spend the night with her making sure that she's being watched. She's just heart broken, she'll get pass it sooner or later."

That much. Shinoa loved Yuichiro that much to the point of skipping school this much to heal. Narumi wanted to be him so badly, have her love him instead.

"You're in love with the Hiiragi girl?" Someone said.

"Rika-san?"

"I've been watching Makoto." Rika said. "Your behavior towards the Hiiragi, I didn't want to believe it at first but it's true, you are in love with her." She laughed. "Honestly Makoto, this is just sad, you can't fall in love with a Hiiragi, she's a Hiiragi for god sake and you are a nobody, to her and her family. They only care about people with value and worth, you have nothing to offer them."
