Brother's Love (Yuumika Story)

Chapter 18

Yuu didn't get any sleep last night, ever since he saw that text from Mika asking for help, he was scared that something had happened to him. He kept calling and texting  but Mika wasn't answering, he paced around his room and disturbed Yoichi, waking him up from sleep to ask for any help at all. It was late and Yoichi knew that nothing could be done that night, he told Yuu he would ask his grandmother for help in the morning. Yuu couldn't wait till morning, his mind kept thinking about what could have happened to Mika.

He kept up with updates about the Shindo event but nothing seemed out of the ordinary, the news hadn't caught anything wrong. Mika's father, his mum and his grandparents were all fine but Mika was no where in sight. Before he knew it, morning had come, he wasted no time, he was going to call Yoichi immediately so he could tell his grandmother. His phone rang, he just received a text. He went to check it.

"MIKA!" He screamed. Overwhelmed with relief as he saw the text from Mika, he quickly began calling.

"Hello? Y-"

"WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED? YOU FUCKING SCARED ME."

"STOP SWEARING YUU-CHAN, YOU ARE SO LUCKY I'M NOT THERE."

"SHUT THE FUCK UP. WHAT WAS WITH THAT TEXT? HELP ME, SAVE ME, THEN YOU GO OFF AND I CAN'T REACH YOU."

Mika was silent for a bit. "You thought too much of it, I only said that because I'm bored to death out here. You've taught me so much about fun that I can't believe how bored I'm getting, I've been to these things since I was a kid, I didn't like them but I didn't usually get this bored."

Yuu's mouth dropped in shock, he got no sleep and it was all because of nothing. What was wrong with Mika, how could he do that sort of thing to him.

"I swear I'm going to kill you Mikaela." Yuu said as Mika laughed. "Why didn't you pick my calls or respond my texts throughout yesterday."

"I wasn't feeling too fine." Mika said. "I couldn't even go to the event yesterday, I'm still not strong."

"I hope you're getting better."

"Yeah I am. Talk to you later Yuu-chan."

Mika hung up. Yuu was glad that Mika was alright but he wasn't happy about him almost giving him a heart attack. At least now he could rest easy knowing Mika was safe, he jumped right into bed and tried to get some sleep, as he closed his eyes his alarm clock rang.

"FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!" He screamed.

Yuu had gotten into a lot of trouble in school because of the way he slept in class. He couldn't help it, he didn't get any sleep last night, he wanted to ditch school but Yoichi's grandmother refused, she was strict and stubborn when it came to education matters.

During lunch he found a quiet place to sleep, he didn't ever bother about class starting, he would skip it, he just needed his rest.

"Hyakuya?" Narumi spotted Yuu, he appeared to be asleep. He walked closer and stared at him. So this was him, the famous Yuichiro Hyakuya. On the first day of school he had taken out a notorious school bully, he made Shinoa Hiiragi fall in love with him and now he was considered a hero by the scholarship students because he had saved them from a school life of bullying.

"He must be tired to have come here to sleep." Makoto's friend, Shusaku said. He noticed the angry look on his friend's face. "Makoto, it's very bad of you to hate him for a petty reason, Shinoa likes him but he doesn't return her feelings."

"I'm so conflicted right now." Makoto said. "I hate that Shinoa likes him, I hate that he is the one she fell in love with but I'm happy that he didn't return her feelings, it means I still have the chance of winning her over and yet I hate the fact that he hurt her so much, I hate him for that."
