"Eh? Three days?"

"Yup." Erika said.

She told Yuu and Mika about an upcoming event she and their dad had to attend. It lasted for three days so that was three days alone without them.

"I'm sorry we have to leave you all alone boys. I wanted to stay with you but-"

"Sweetheart you're acting like they're kids. They're grown ups, they can look after themselves." Erika said.

"Yes we can but you're forgetting something very important. There's a hurricane coming, it's been on the news for the past two days." Yuu said. "There hasn't been a single sunlight for some time now, you can't leave not knowing when it'll get here."

"That's why we're leaving now." Erika said. "The train will be leaving soon so we have to get going."

"But-" Yuu tried to object.

"But what Yuu?" Erika frowned. "Why are you behaving so childish? It's only three days away, you're not some baby who needs their parents every second. You're a growing boy, soon you'll be off to college and we won't go with you. Be more like your brother, he isn't complaining."

It's times like these Yuu disliked Erika. She was so selfish, always wanted to have her way and she had a way of praising Mika above him.

"I get that you'd want me to be more like your son but I'm just concerned for you two but since that only makes me childish then go. See if I care." Yuu stomped away.

"Yuu." His dad tried calling him back. "Sweetheart don't you think you were a bit too harsh, he was only trying to be considerate."

"Well my mistake." Erika said. "He was being too insistent. Anyway let's go, we don't want to miss our train." She smiled and walked up to Mika. "Bye Mika." She kissed his forehead. "And give this to your brother for me, tell him mummy's sorry ok." She kissed him again.

Mika walked into Yuu's room, he was under his bed sheets bundled up and sulking.

"Cute." He said.

"SHUT UP MIKA!" Yuu yelled. "She can be really annoying sometimes, I get you're better but does she always have to compare the both of us? I can never be like you. I'm me."

Mika smiled. "And that's what I like about you. Pay no attention to my mum Yuu-chan, never be like someone like me, you'll only regret it."

Mika reached out to Yuu and gently patted his head.

"Stop that." He said.

"Well at least we've got the whole house to ourselves." Mika said. "We can do whatever we want Yuu-chan."

Yuu looked out the window, it was just the hour of eleven but the dark clouds made it seem it was getting to nightfall. He couldn't believe that Erika insisted on travelling in this kind of weather. Pushing that aside, he thought about himself and Mika. Where they really going to stay three days in this all alone?

"It looks bad right?" Mika asked as Yuu nodded.

"They halted all schools for the time being. No one knows when it'll hit. For safety everyone should remain in doors." Yuu said as he frowned. "AND OUR DAMN PARENTS PICKED TODAY TO TRAVEL?"

"Yuu-chan you're too loud." Mika said. "Why don't we prepare ourselves, just in case it hits. All the workers are gone for the time being so it's only going to be just the two of us."
"Wait? How do we plan on eating without the chef?" Yuu asked.

"Well um...I was hoping that Yuu-chan would cook for us."

"I can't cook those rich people food."
