12 - Should I Say Yes?

~ Rosemary's P.o.v~

I walk out to find Matt leaning against the wall on his phone. He looks up and sees me standing there. I smile and walk up to him. He smiles back at me.

" Hey Matt! Whatcha doing?" I ask.

" I was actually waiting for you," he tells me, slightly blushing.

I tilt my head.

" Well, I'm here. What do you need?" I tell him.

" Um well I've been meaning to ask if um maybe you would uh.." he mumbles, nervously.

I admit he looks a bit cute when he's nervous.

" Huh?" I question.

" I was wondering if maybe you would be my girlfriend Rosemary. I've liked you for a while now and I was always to nervous to ask you anything. It's okay if you don't like me back. I understand," he blushes.

I look at him, my face growing slightly red. I've never really been asked out before. I don't know if I like Matt. I do get these weird feelings around him, but I don't know if that means anything.

" Uh Matt is it okay if I have time to think about it?" I ask him.

He looks at me and nods.

" Yeah. I'll give you all the time in the world," he replies.

We began to walk back to the auditorium where everyone was.

~ Drew's P.o.v (dun dun)~

I was walking to the door of the bathroom, but stop when I hear voices. I lean against the door a bit to find out who was talking.

" I was wondering if maybe you would be my girlfriend Rosemary. I've been liking you for a while now and I was always to nervous to ask you anything. It's okay if you don't like me back, I understand," I hear a guys voice ask.

Is someone asking the nerd out? Ha, must be some loser.

" Uh Matt is it okay if I have time to think about it?" I hear the nerd ask.

I don't know why, but I got this weird feeling in my stomach when I heard her voice. It's been a while since I heard her talk in such a soft, calm voice. I honestly have no idea why I'm acting like a jerk to her. Oh wait I know why, because she's a pathetic nerd.

Ha ha Drew that was so funny.

Hey don't go all sarcastic on me.

I can if I want to. Drew this is Rosemary we're talking about. It's so obvious you like her.

I do not like her and besides I'm dating Kat.

Oh the girl that you say is so annoying?

Yeah, she is annoying, but she's hot.

And Rosemary is beautiful.

Why am I talking to myself again.

You're only talking to me, because you need some common sense in the hole in your head you call a brain.

Hey, that was rude.

I'm being the rude one? You're the one who's been bullying Rosemary and calling her a pathetic nerd.

It's not hurting her now is it? Either way girls always dig the bad boys.

It is hurting her! Drew do we need to get you glasses? And Rosemary isn't like most girls.

No way, am I getting glasses. I won't look cool with glasses on. I would look like a...nerd.
