I walked downstairs, about to leave the house when a voice calls out my name. I sigh and walk towards my dad's office.

" What do you need dad," I sighed.

" As much as I am happy you decided to stay and not move out, we need to discuss your future," my dad tells me, flipping through paperwork.

" Don't worry Dad I have good grades," I tell him.

" I know that, but we need to decide what college you are going to. You've already sent applications to colleges, correct?" My dad asks me.

" Yes, I have," I reply.

"Great. Your mother is throwing a gathering and many professors from different colleges will be attending. Better make yourself a good reputation for your college years," my dads mumbles, signing a few things and adjusting his glasses.

I nod and walk out of the study. I walk out of the house and skate to school. I skate inside the school once I get there and stop at my locker. I put my board in there and lock it up. I walk into class and toss my bag on my desk. Two girls I've never talked to in my months in school walk up to me.

" Hi! I am and this is . We've noticed you hang out with our cousin and everyone says that you are either a girl toy or you're dating," the girl, Emily tells me.

" Um if I may ask. Who is your cousin?" I ask.

" Oh sorry. Our cousin is Drew Thompson," Eleanor smiles.

" Oh. No, I am neither," I gasp.

" So you like him?" Emily ask.

" No, I do not," I reply.

" So he likes you?" Eleanor says likes she's discovered something.

" No, he doesn't. We both hate each other," I mumble.

" Hmm. We'll see about that," they murmur.

I look at them confused as they walk out of the class and Drew walks in. He looks back and them, then looks at me. He walks over to me.

" What did they tell you?" he ask quickly.

" None of your business," I mumble.

" I need to know. Those two are up to no good," he interjects.

" They asked me a question and I answered," I simply tell him.

" That's all?" He ask.

" That's all," I confirm.

" Okay good. I thought they said some horrible lie," he mumbles.

He walks off to his friends and leaves me confused. Why is he so worried about what they asked me?

I walk into my cousin's classroom and see all the freshman girls staring at me. I walk up to Emily's desk who was right next to Eleanor. I slam my hands on their desk, causing them to jump.

" Okay, you little brats what did you tell or ask the nerd," I growl.

" Nerd? Nicknames already," Emily cooed.

" We didn't talk to the so called nerd," Eleanor says innocently.

" You're not cute Eleanor. Cut the act," I hissed.

Eleanor glares and leans back in her chair, placing her vans on the desk. Emily placing her converse on the desk.

" We said what we said," Emily jibed.

" And what we said was only for her to hear," Eleanor continued.

" Stop talking so confusing like," I grumble.
