the bathtub cracks
unable to hold her weight
she is too heavy
she grabs the skin on her hip
and pulls
it's amazing how far skin stretches
she wishes she was thinner
she remembers the time in
ninth grade when she wanted to
die thin
she lost 7 pounds that summer
but no one flew into a panic
she was weak
but happy
with
her
body
