Chapter Sixteen
"What's the cinnamon challenge?" Liam asked curiously.
"Oh," I wrinkled my nose. "It's where you try to swallow a spoon of cinnamon. But really, it's impossible because the cinnamon mixes with your saliva and you can die if you don't cough it out in time..."
"Sounds fun," Louis walked in, grinning from ear to ear. "Let's do it!"
"Yeah, no," I rolled my eyes. "I like being alive thank you very much, without having cinnamon clogged in my throat."
"C'mon," Louis tried his best puppy dog face. "We won't let you die."

After a good ten minutes, I gave in.
"We're doing the cinnamon challenge," Louis said brightly as Liam pressed the record button on the webcam on his laptop. "Except Harry and Zayn aren't home at the moment."
"So it's just Liam, Lou, Teagan and I," Niall added.
"I'm not doing it," I shook my head. "I've already done it. That status thing that said 300 likes and I'll do the cinnamon challenge video. And I like nearly died. So yeah."
"Drama queen," Niall teased and squeezed my hand under the kitchen counter. All the video showed was everything above the counter, so we were good.
Apparently, he was going to 'clear up' eveyrthing tomorow about us dating. And tell all his fans we really were. That we weren't just kissing for fun. But apparently, we weren't allowed to comment or answer tweets about it until then.
"You know you love me," I said before tossing a spoon to each of the three boys. Liam just stared at it.
"Right, fear of spoons," I sighed and handed him a fork. Let's hope he doesn't spill it everywhere.
They loaded the spoons and the fork with cinnamon. Although most of it fell off the fork and there was barely any left.
"3," Louis counted. "2,1."
They dumped the cinnamon into their mouths. All three began coughing almost instantly and Louis was coughing and laughing at the same time. A strange combination. Cinnamon went flying everywhere and I got up from my seat to make sure it didn't go all over my clothing.
"Never again," Louis gasp-coughed. "That's disgusting."

Ignoring it, I clicked delete and shut my laptop screen as Niall came into the room.
