The next morning I woke up and Drew was still sleeping.
I moved closer to him and put my head in his neck.
He tightened his arms around me. "Morning." he whispered.
"Morning." I whispered back. I looked up at him and smiled.
He closed his eyes and traced patterns on my back. "I don't want this to end."
I lifted my head and put my chin on his chest. "I don't want it to either."
"I have to tell you something." he sat up and leaned against the headboard.
"What is it?" I pulled the sheet around my chest and sat next to him.
"Earlier this morning, I got a call." he put his hand on my leg. "I am leaving today instead of in a week."
I pulled my legs to my chest and looked down.
"I'm sorry." he whispered.
I shrugged.
"Don't be mad at me." he pulled my face around to his.
"I'm not mad." I sighed. "Just bummed."
He nodded. "How do you think I feel? We just got married and we can't even go on a honeymoon. Or be with each other."
I groaned and tackled him into the bed. "Let's not talk about it right now." I pecked his lips. "Okay?"
He smirked. "Fine with me."
I rolled my eyes and kissed him again.
**TIMESKIP**
Drew was driving me back to my house because he had to leave. It was almost 8:00PM. He pulled up to my house and we sat in the car.
"This sucks." I sighed and we got out of the car. He carried my bags to my room.
No one was home and it was really quiet.
I pulled him into my room and wrapped my arms around his neck. He kissed me pushed me back onto the bed. I smiled a he kissed my neck.
The door opened and we looked at it. Tammy was standing in the door with wide eyes. "Oops, sorry." she blushed and shut the door.
Drew looked down at me and kissed me gently before standing up. "I better go. Don't want to be late." he said sarcastically.
I nodded. "I love you." I stood up and wrapped my hand around his.
"I love you too."
We walked downstairs and Tammy was sitting on the couch looking awkward. She stood up and we walked to her.
"Drew, this is Tammy, Tammy this is Drew." I smiled.
"We met at the wedding." she blushed again.
"It's nice to see you again." he smiled at her.
I walked him to the door and waved at him as he drove away.
Tammy put her hand on my shoulder. "Sorry about that."
I shook my head. "It's okay. He has to leave for business today." I closed the door and we went in the kitchen.
"So how have things between you and your parents been?" she opened the freezer and grabbed the ice cream. She is the only person that knows how my parents treat me.
"Not really any better, except, my mom apologized. He was making her be horrible to me." I said quietly.
"Is that what the cut on your eye came from?" she sat next to me and we stared at the tub of ice cream.
"Yeah." I twisted away from her. "And the one on my back."
She lifted my shirt and winced. "Oww."
"Yeah." I stuck my hand into the ice cream.
"You want a spoon?" she chuckled.
I shook my head. "Nope."
She smiled and copied me.
