Take my hand?!

Chap 9: United!!!

I've been been avoiding Zaid and Umar for weeks now. They are probably really upset at me and I think that more fitna would be caused if I hang around them. Even though I got about one hundred fifty messages from Umar and Zaid and like ten missed calls from Umar I choose to ignore them. I think that is the best thing to do. I have been bored the past week and a half without them, but I think what I am doing is reasonable. If Zaid wants to do the wrong thing then that is up to him. I tried to help, but he obviously doesn't appreciate me. I don't know why everything has to change, even I am changing.

"Bring" I hear my phone go off because someone is face timing me. I picked the phone up and Aasif, Aasif was face timing me.

"Hey sis!"

"Hey..you know we are in the same house right?"

"No, I am at Zaid's house with Zaid and Umar." he smirked as I shivered at his voice and his facial expression through the camera. I don't know what to say next.

" O....K."

"Aasi..stop being childish."

"What are you talking about and since when did you ever leave your room."

"Aasiyah, really! That's not the point, the point is that you've been ignoring your best friends!"

"And when did you ever start caring about my friendship, well... my use to be friendship?"

"Aasi, are you serious right now?"

"Look Asif, I think that it would be better if we don't hang out anymore. I looked down trying to act like I was doing something important. I mean it feels like my whole life is changing, I was just trying to help someone who is really important to me, but all he did was yell at me. I mumbled under my breath."

"You know we just heard all of that. Asif said with a mad face that looked like he wanted to come all the way from Zaid's house just to scold me.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat!! Who is we?" I yelled into the phone furiously then I hung up the face time. Asif tried to call about fifty times more, but I just ignored it now he texted me this long lecture. Like , For real? Now he is calling me for the hundredth time!

"What.....?!! I answered the phone and became hesitant for a moment.

"Come here!" Asif commanded.

"Where?"

"Here." 

"Here, were?"

"Here, to Zaid's house."

"Whaatt? I am not going over there!"

"Just come, you cant hold a grudge on Umar and Zaid forever. Thay are your Bffs and soon you wont even be able to look at them. Let them apologize, ok? (Well technically I cant speak or look at them, but my ummi doesn't mind as long as I don't do anything "HARAM". She knows I am not like that though.)

" O.....k, but I am not gonna stay for long."

" Ok, as long as you just come." Asif ended the call as I hopped off my bed and threw some clothes on and quickly wrapped my hijab on. I started out of my home to get my bike when...

" Aatiyah! Whew we goin? Abdullah asked me while he was building a block castle in front of the door way.

"Umm..Dullah your not coming."

"Whyys..I weally wants to!" he started to playfully cry and he actually thought I was stupid.

"Ok ,you can come, but it looks chilly so go get a sweater."

"Otay! Abdullah jumped up and down and ran to the  his room to get his sweater. One minuet later he was back.

" I bwack!!" he said as I grabbed his hand to walk the way ,since last time I tried to take him on a bike ride it didn't end well.  Dullah and I finally got to Zaids home after a twenty minuet walk, I feel like I am going to collapse on he floor. 

I was just about to knock when someone opened the door.

"We're soo sorry!!!" Zaid and Umar said at the same time and i felt myself do something I know I shouldn't have. I just ran up to them and hugged them. It feels like one of those dramatic movies!! I hate it and I know I am not supposed to hug nor hold hands or any of that ushy gushy stuff with my non mahrams, but I missed Zaid and Umar  soo much over the pass weeks iv'e been avoiding them.

" I new you'd miss us that much. Zaid smirked.

" Of course, she loves us. Umar winked and I felt the three amigo's were finally "United" after one billion years.

"Of course I did , you guys are me amigo's. I smiled. And I know you guys missed me to!?"

"We sure did, you should've seen how miserable we were without you. We were like a heart with out the other half. Umar said dramatically as if they were lost with out me.He made me smile so big I think my mouth hurts. My Bff's are so awesome!!! Thank Allah for my Bff's!!
