When I was in my teenage years, life was simpler, all I have to do is obey whatever mom tells me and I won’t have any problem. I just need to socialize with different groups of people and do my very best in rejecting guys who are planning to court me. Looking back on all the relationships I’ve had, I’ve never really had someone to sweep me off my feet.

I had my first boyfriend at the age of fourteen. He was the son of my dad’s golf partner. We didn’t last long because he was more interested in guys than I was. The second one unleashed my rebellious side and probably kick-started my rebellion with my so-called life. He was a bad boy type and a school heartthrob. Aside from that he’s such a player too and that’s what made me leave him. I’m not gonna keep a boyfriend who keeps on taking advantage of my best friend.  The third one was James, who was supposed to be my soul mate. Now, I have this thing with Stefan. I don’t know what I would call it. I wouldn’t call it a relationship because a relationship would mean you two share mutual feelings of love which was not really present in ours.

By noon, I already started on arranging the finishing touches for the wedding that I am handling. I haven’t made a single ocular inspection on the location, making me feel unproductive and thus increasing my stress level. As I was fixing my schedule for the week I heard a knock on the door.

I hurriedly opened the door and to my surprise Adelaida stood in front of me. Ravishing and proper as always, she extended me some greetings.

“Your gate was open so I just made my way in…”  She was strucked by the pillow and blanket on the couch, I can tell. She looked rather suspicious when she eyed on me and I couldn’t come up with an excuse on why I am sleeping in the living room.   Frankly, Stefan’s pillow barrier plan didn’t work so the moment Stefan dozed off I sneaked outside and slept on the couch. “Where’s Stefan?” She asked expressionless.

I gulped. Trouble is brewing already. “I’ll go get him.” I managed to answer Adelaida in a calm tone.

I entered the master’s bedroom without knocking.  Just as I entered the room, Stefan stepped out of the shower. Talk about hot. James body is nothing compared to his. My eyes was stuck ogling at his abs.  With just a small towel covering his lower half, seeing him in this state just sends chills to me and with that I got in a trance.

His chuckle brought me back to reality. “Did you just enter here to see me half naked?” he teased.

I blushed out of embarrassment. “Yo… Your Mom is… he… here.” I stuttered. I couldn’t look at him in the eye.

“I’ll just dress up. Care to help me?” he winked at me. He enjoys making me feel uncomfortable. What an asshole. After the teasing I was caught off guard when he dropped the towel to the floor, exposing his naked body to me.

“Oh My Gosh.” I covered my eyes and squirmed.  I stammered outside the room not believing what he just did.  As I went back to the living room, I can see Adelaida starting to get impatient. She sat in an upright position on the couch with her legs crossed incessantly tapping her lap.

As soon as she saw me she asked. “Well, where is he?”

“He’s just dressing up.” I gave her the sweetest smile that I could ever give. She raised her eyebrow at me.

“Is there something wrong dear? You face is as red as my lipstick.” She walked towards me and started assessing me if I was sick. I gave my best effort to stop her from worrying.

“I’m alright Adelaida.” I give her a reassuring look.

Stefan stepped out of the room just in time. “What brings you here mom?” he asked.
