This is hard to say. Vik? If you are up there... I want you to know this.
I want you to know that I have tried to move on, but I can't. I now understand why Simon tried to leave. He wanted to try and start a new life. A life without the memories of grief.
Today, we have decided to make the decision to break up.
The Sidemen will permanently be separate YouTubers from now on.
We haven't told the fans yet. We don't know how. All we know is that they'll be devastated.
We were going to do a brief separation but we have all decided that there is no going back from both you and Simon's deaths. We have all also decided that the Sidemen would not be the same without you two.
So we are going to keep the memory of the Sidemen as 7 guys, not 5.
Also, none of us are going to write anymore. It's not because we don't care or we don't want to remember you, it's just that we are bringing up emotions we are trying to dispose of at the moment.
I hope you can understand, Vik.
In addition, Josh and JJ are going to get their own flats somewhere in London. They can't bear the house being so quiet.
But...
We are all going to still make videos together.
We are all still going to talk to each other.
It just won't be the same.
If only Vik. If only you hadnt have gone.
