Chapter 4

I wake up with a banging headache and realise I’ve slept in. Partying the day before school is not a good idea, trust me! Memories of what happened at the party start to flood my brain and the fight between Jordan and Henry.

Flashback---

“Bro don’t touch me!” Henry had said whilst getting pushed against the wall by Jordan.

“What are you going to do about it? Ha? Besides you swore at me and no one talks to me like that and I won’t let you talk to me like that, someone has to teach you a lesso…” Before Jordan even finishes talking, Henry punches him in the jaw. I can see Jordan’s eyes turning black as he slowly backs away holding his jaw. His friends come to his side glaring at Henry.

“Is that the best you can do? Man you are a joker” Jordan laughs and clenches his fists and lunges at Henry and they both fall on the floor with Jordan beating the hell out of him. I can hear some people chanting cheering and some people whispering.

“Isn’t that the new kid who just moved to LA?” some girl asks her friend

“I don’t know but he is sooo good looking!” the other girl replies. I can’t believe no one is doing anything. Henry is literally getting pounded and everyone is watching like it’s a movie. I need to do something, and I need to do it now. I look at Kimberly worriedly and she is busy cheering Jordan on. I give her the daggers.

“Jordan STOP STOP STOP!” I shout as I try to get between him and Henry whilst avoiding getting hit. Jordan doesn’t stop and keeps punching Henry in the stomach. Poor Henry! I touch Jordan’s shoulder knowing that he will feel the sparks. He suddenly stops and looks up at me then dodges as Henry tries to throw a punch at him. Jordan gets off Henry who now is bleeding from the nose to the mouth. I look at him as he lays on the floor feeling so sorry for him as some people just stand there laughing at him including Kimberly, Daniel and his friends.

End of Flashback---

I go to the toilet and take a quick shower and when I come out I nearly wet myself as I see Kimberly grinning at me whilst sitting on my bed.

“HOLY COW KIM, what are you doing here” I scream at her as I clench my towel tighter as it attempts to fall down. Her grin drops and she looks at me confused.

“In case you have forgotten, your mom is meant to drive us to school, it’s not rocket science” she finally says giving me the ‘Duh’ look.

I quickly comb my chocolate brown hair, put on some makeup, put on my black skinny jeans, a white crop shirt, and black vans and to add the effect I take my blue snapback.  Kimberly is wearing a black pleated skirt that’s a few inches above her knees, a baby blue tee that’s written “Y.O.L.O” on it, blue vans and she has her blonde hair into a messy bun and light makeup which for some apparent reason make her green eyes stand out.

“Why do you have such green eyes” I ask with envy in my voice as we sit in the car whilst mom is driving us to school. Kimberly gives me the ‘wtf’ look, then replies.

“You random idiot! Have you been listening to a word I’ve been saying about that fight that happened yesterday?”

“Er, erm, yes, maybe…okay no”

“COW!, and go ask God why he gave me these ridiculously amazing green eyes, and on your way back get me a gay best friend”, My mom chuckled and I gave her the daggers.

“Why a gay best friend?” I ask

“Because silly, he would listen to my stories and we could have loads of fun together!”

“Oh so you are saying I’m a bad friend! Wow thanks this really made my day!

We get to school still arguing whilst mom just laughs at us. My first lesson is homeroom without Kimberly; phew at least the arguing can stop. I quickly rush to homeroom since I’m already late leaving Kimberly still talking, when she finally realises I’ve gone she stands there like the idiot she is. I rush into my class panting.

“Sorry I’m late Miss”

“Ms Williams you are always late!”

“that’s why I said sorry!”

“Just sit down next to our new student Jordan.” I look up shocked as ever and Jordan is sitting there with a smirk on his face.
