I have decided not to let this whole ‘My mate’ thing get to my head. I got invited to Katy’s party tonight. She is one of the cheerleaders and she can be a right cow but she likes so it’s good. I haven’t been to a party in like three weeks and I definitely need to go to this one to clear my mind out and have fun. I’m hoping I don’t see Jordan with his delicious body, hot looking eyes and…wait wait what am I saying! Besides the only reason I’m going to this party is to get him out of my head because he seems to be sneaking in there every chance he gets! Besides I think him and the boys are new here because I have only seem them once and that was at the beach when I met my… mate.

I’m going to wear my mini skirt and my ‘I’m laddered’ tights, a white lace top and my black pumps. Kimberly is getting ready at my house and then we’ll bounce at 7:30. My dad is dropping us there and then when he comes back him and mom will have the house free to themselves. The thought of coming back from the party and seeing something I don’t want to see is not the one! Yes I’m talking about my mom and dad. They act like two love sick teenagers… its really awkward when I bring a boy home and they are acting like that, I mean seriously who else’s’ parents act like that. NONE!! Just my luck then isn’t it?!

I look at the time on my phone and it’s already 7:25! Dad is still in the house probably smooching mom while Kimberly and I are sitting patiently…NOT, in the car. Kimberly is shifting uncomfortably in her seat and it’s starting to annoy me!

“For goodness sake do you have ants in your pants?” I ask her

“No my butt is numb! I’ve been sitting down for too long” she replies whilst giving me a look that makes her look constipated. Wow we have only been in the car for only 20 minutes and she is already complaining! That’s my best friend for you. Finally dad decides to come to the car so he can drive us to the party. Kimberly and I give him the silent treatment until we reach the party. 

“Thanks dad, I’ll call you when I want you to come pick us up” I say rushing out the car so he won’t object. I grab Kimberly’s hand and rush into the party and dad drives away. As soon as we get into the party the smell of alcohol hits my nose and there are teenagers grinding and kissing almost everywhere I look.

“Oh my gosh look who’s here!” Kimberly says and points. My heart skips a beat as I look to where she is pointing, Jordan is here! My eyes meet his and he smiles and I automatically smile back. He starts talking to his friends and points to where Kimberly and I are standing. They start walking over and before he gets to where we are, I feel a pair of strong hands wrap around my waist.

“Hey Williams, you wanna make out?” Henry whispers into my ear and his breath tickles my neck. Henry is one of the really hot jocks. I have kissed him quite a lot of times and he never gets enough but I swear he has got a girlfriend. Just when I’m about to answer Henry’s question I feel sparks as Jordan pulls me away from Henry and I stumble into his chest.

“Don’t touch her!” he says as he glares at Henry. Henry gives him the wtf look and winks at me as he walks off. I give him my best smile and mouth ‘See you soon’ to him. Just as I’m about to ask Jordan what that was all about , he lets go of my hand and follows the girl who just passed him wearing a really short black dress with her ass hanging out. He is looking at her ass the whole time, when the girl finally notices Jordan behinds her, she smiles at him and then he starts shoving his tongue down her throat! What is his problem I mean when he sees me with another guy he gets all jealous but when it’s him with another girl, it’s all good. I’m going to show him what an idiot he actually is.

I spot Henry looking at me and I signal him to come over. He quickly walks to me and I lead him away from where we had been standing. I walk past Jordan and the girl still kissing and I make sure to brush against Jordan feeling the sparks going through my arm.

“What the..” he suddenly looks up and sees me smiling whilst walking away with Henry.

“Nicole where are you taking me babe” Henry asks as he puts his hands around my waist. I turn around and put my hands around his neck.

“Here” I say and then put my lips on his. I can feel Jordan watching us and I decide to spice it up a bit.

“Ohhh Henry” I moan his name. He smiles against my lips and then all of a sudden we are pulled apart.

“What the hell” I say pretending to be frustrated. “

I just need to talk to Nicole for a second” Jordan says pulling me away. I can hear Henry groan with frustration and he swears at Jordan. Jordan ignores him and keeps pulling me until we are outside the building.

“What the hell are you doing with that idiot in there you are my mate and not anyone else’s’” He shouts at me. I raise my eyebrow as I just realise he just me his mate.

“Oh, so I’m your mate? Really, I didn’t know”
