Chapter 12

Alex's POV

We were walking back to Lafayette and Herc's dorm. Hercules and John were further ahead of me and Laf which was perfect so I could finally talk to Lafayette.
"Do you think he likes me back?" I asked Lafayette.
"I mean he definitely seems like he does. Am I sure? Not exactly but I do see the way he looks at you and he definitely cares about you. If you really want to know if he does your best bet is Eliza or Peggy. They are really close with John" Lafayette responded.
"I'm just scared. If I make a move and he doesn't like me.." I trailed off.
"Dude stop worrying about it. How about while John and Herc go pick out the movie and stuff we will go and see Eliza?" Lafayette said. I just nodded in approval. I stood there waiting as Lafayette told them we were stopping by "my dorm" to pick something up. Considering the fact he couldn't tell them we were seeing Eliza to find out wether or not John likes me. We walked all the way to Eliza's dorm. Lafayette walked straight in.
"What the hell man?!" I said.
"It's fine I texted her ahead of time and she said to walk right in." Lafayette said laughing.
"Thank god, you would have been named 'Biggest Asshole' if you just walked right in." I said.
"Hey guys!" Eliza said very Perky. I wonder why she was in such a good mood today.
"Well Mr.Paranoid over here wants to know if you have inside information about Laurens." Lafayette said smirking. I hated when he did that.
"What do you mean.'inside information'?" She asked.
"Does John like me or not?" I asked quickly slurring my words together.
"Woah, woah, woah. Do you like John?!" Eliza asked her face lightning up.
"Ya I guess I do." I said blushing.
"Ahhhhh this is perfect!" Lafayette and Eliza said in unison.
"Alright y'all go back to the dorm  and Lafayette I will text you in the next 10 to 15 minutes." Eliza said with an excited grin on her face.

(This is Laf POV but in texts and stuff)
Cinnamonroll: OK SO THEY BOTH LIKE EACH OTHER
FrenchMan:Nooooo I haven't noticed that.
Cinnamonroll:Stop being so sarcastic. So I had the best idea ever!
Frenchman:And that idea is???
Cinnamonroll: Ok so basically we set up a surprise date for them! It would be so cute and all and I can get Angelica and Herc and Peggy and Aaron and Maria to help! It would be soooo smol and they are so cute together!
Frenchman:I love it! Start getting any ideas or plans or whatever together. The guys are getting suspicious. Got to go.

(Still Lafs POV)
"Ok so what movie are we watching?" I asked the guys.
"Mulan!" Herc almost yelled. He always has had a thing for Disney movies. I couldn't complain though. Mulan was one of my favorite movies. I sat down next to Herc on the floor and John and Alex were unbelievably close on the couch together. It was so cute. Somewhere in the middle of the movie I managed to get a picture of Alex almost asleep on John's shoulder. I sent it to Eliza and you could almost hear her scream from the other side of the phone. And that was only through texts.
Alex's POV
Welp. I'm guessing Eliza freaking out can mean one of two things. Either one: He likes me too or 2: He doesn't. I have a feeling it's the second one. But who am I to know. Lafayette has been texting for a while. I'm guessing Eliza since she said she would be texting him as we left. I wondered what they were talking about. We were watching Mulan. An oldie but definitely a goodie. What is with Hercules and these Disney movies. Hercules is a confusing person. Hercules and Lafayette were laying on the floor in front of the TV obviously more interested in the movie then John and I were. John and I were sitting on the couch. I felt my eyes getting heavier and heavier. Sooner or later my head was resting on John's shoulder as I began to fall asleep. I think I had a 10 or so minute nap until I thought I heard a camera go off. Lafayette and Hercules were giggling on the floor. Those guys will be the death of me. I took out my phone and Lafayette had texted me. He was like 2 feet away and he had to text me. I opened the text and it was a picture of me sleeping on John's shoulder. No way was I not saving this in my camera roll but I also needed to make sure John wouldn't see so I had deleted Lafayette's text. Then lucky enough for me it started to ran. It wasn't a heavy rain yet. Just a drizzle. It was sort of a calming noise but I tensed up. I think John noticed and he woke up. He gave me a hug obviously noticing what was going on.
"Hey,hey it's ok. It gonna be fine. We are all here" he said calmly. I was so lucky it was a Friday night and didn't have to worry about any classes on a Saturday. Hercules and laf were just giggling on the floor. I knew what about, John was just confused and his face was showing so many mixed emotions.
"They are fucking insane" John said laughing.
"Ya I see what you mean." I responded. I think they heard us and gave us both A death stare.
"We said nothing!" We both yelled in unison as we ran into the other room to hide knowing they would chase in a good .1 seconds.

A/N: Ahhh ya I finally got a long chapter up for y'all. I have a couple thanks to make. First I want to thank Covert910 (Hannah) for being my publisher 😂 and giving me the pointers and stuff. Second I wanna thank my fren Jerry who gave me the motivation to keep writing because he said he "assassinated" Groffsauce and Lin and I had to keep them alive so here I am writing. I wanna thank Lillian and Emily whom have been the Hamfam the entire way through. And then the internet hamfam Elena, Maycee, Maddie #1, Maddie #2, Carissa and Axton. And then the best for last all of the readers and the voters and "the commenters" (I have no commenters) for reading this. Last time I saw I had like 404 reads and that is just insane. I didn't think my crappy writing would get anywhere but I guess it did. The song I tagged up top is my favorite mashup ever. It's amazing. Thank y'all so much. You all are the best and if it wasn't for you I would be no where to be honest. I seriously thought I would get like 1 read (I have 1 read on my personal book😂)
