Chapter 18

Alex's POV
I had an hour before Laf and Herc would be able to pick me up. Supposedly Aaron was taking a 3rd car while the girls were taking another. I didn't care. I didn't know exactly what to wear to a carnival, I mean it was December in New York. It's probably below zero. Now being a kid from the Caribbean you didn't exactly have winters. I just put on some jeans and a t-shirt. I grabbed my laptop and just typed away until I heard a knock at the door. I jumped up to go get it. I would've made Aaron do it but he had errands to run before hand.
"Mon ami! Are you ready?" Lafayette asked.
I nodded and grabbed my jacket, along with a beanie. You ever know when you'll need a beanie. We walked over to Laurens' dorm. You couldn't hear a lot of noise so Madison was probably with Jefferson. There was a sign on the door that read 'if your Alex, Laf, Herc, or Aaron come in. If your Jefferson please stand within a 100 foot radius of the door'. We laughed at that. Laf opened the door and we walked in.
"Mon ami!" Laf yelled.
"Jesus Christ Laf, no need to scream" Laurens said. I just rolled my eyes. Laurens smiled. Jesus his smile was adorable. Laf looked at me and smirked, I in return kicked him in the leg.
"Ow Ce pour quoi c'était pour ça ?!" Laf screamed in French. Little did these people know I was fluent in French.
"Lafayette vous savez exactement ce que c'était pour, maintenant je jure devant Dieu si vous faites quelque chose ce soir!" I responded. They all looked at me shocked.
"Since when can you speak fluent French?" Laurens asked.
"For the longest time turtle lover" I said laughing.
"HAHAHA HE CALLED YOU TURTLE LOVER MY LORD HAHAHA" Herc yelled. Laurens gave me the death stare.
"Awww I'm sorry Laurens. Did I hurt your feelings?" I asked. He just nodded trying to hold in laughter. I went over and hugged him and we all bursted out in laughter.
"Don't we have some place to be?" Laf asked.
We nodded and walked to the car. Lafayette was driving and we let Herc have the passenger side because Herc is tall and Herc needs leg room. Laurens and I sat in the back. I just wanted to cuddle with him. We sat in awkward silence until John started singing quietly.
"Raise a glass to freedom" John sang quietly.
Laf and Herc joined in next singing "Hey! Something you'll never see again!"
"No matter what she tells you" Herc sang.
"Let's have another round tonight?" I sang questionably.
"Raise a glass to the four of us!" We sang together. By then we were all laughing. We finally reached the carnival. It was actually pretty cold so I put my beanie on. The Sister, Maria, and Burr had beat us there.
"Finallyyyyy your here!" Peggy said in excitement.
"Ya we thought ya died, y'all took forever." Eliza said. I noticed Eliza smirking and it made me a bit nervous.
"Well are we gonna go inside or not?!" Maria asked. We nodded and went to grab tickets.
Once we were done that we walked in and looked around.
"AHHH THEY GOT A WINTER WONDERLAND HAY RIDE!!" Lafayette yelled. "MON AMI LETS GO!" We all followed Laf to the hay ride. When we got there we climbed into the hay ride thingy. I have no idea what they are called... tractors I guess?
~magically Time skip~
"THAT WAS SO COOL!" Laf yelled.
"Uh guys, I'm sorry to be a bummer but I gotta go, something came up." Burr said with a mixed look on his face. A look of both happiness and sadness. I was confused.
"You're the worst Burr!" Laf said.
"Is everything ok?" Eliza asked.
"Ya everything is ok, just gotta go see if everything is ok." Burr said starting to walk off. We all said bye to him.

A/N and I'm leaving yo asses on a cliffhanger HA FIGHT ME! Do y'all want some advice. Here is some advice. Don't go to fucking Disney world on New Year's Eve. It is wayyy to fuckig busy and crowded but don't do anything I wouldn't do and I already did it so I guess you can do it. My mom was worried the guy behind us was a terrorist like fucking racist much mom? He wasn't though. It's 3:00 in the morning January 1st and I just wanted to say thank you all for making my 2016 amazing. I love you all 💕💕
