Chapter 24

Alex's POV

We walked back to the dorms and part of me wanted to beat the hell outta Thomas Jefferson.

I know I have to stop getting into fights with him but seriously he went to fucking far with this one.

"Ok who else wants to go beat the fuck out of TJeffs because he weNT TO FUCKINY FAR?!" I half yelled. "HE'S PROBABLY MAKING OUT WITH MADISON AS WE SPEAK AND HE TALKS ABOUT HOW WE'RE GAY?!"

"Hey Alex calm down. It's ok now. Washington has it all under control" John said reassuring.

Everyone had their eyes on me A/N What song reference? First one gets a shout out!

"But! Listen, you all know that Jefferson and I have been enemies for years. Us going "crying" to Washington will make us seem weak, we have to at least talk to him. I promise it won't go any further then a normal talk." I said trying to urge them on.

Everyone looked around. Peggy looked nervous along with John and Eliza. Burr seemed like he could care less, and Herc, Laf, and Angelica seemed ready to fight

"Guys please?" I pleaded with my puppy dog eyes.

"Alex, we can go down and talk but if it goes any further then that we are leaving." Eliza said calmly.

Everyone else looked around back and fourth between each other like it was some sort of death wish. I sighed.

"Thank you" I said quietly. "Can you give me a minute before we go?"

They nodded. I grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and started to write. The rest of them murmured within themselves.

The note read:
-Jefferson
I'm assuming you saw this letter if your reading it. If it is anyone else besides Jefferson reading it please give it to him, thank you.
Anyway Jefferson we saw what you did. I don't see why you did it, it was a very childish act of you. I thought you were all about not being childish but this says otherwise. Everyone saw it, the Schuyler Sisters, Burr, Hercules, John and Lafayette even Maria.
But one person you didn't expect to but did IS Washington.So don't be shocked when you get called down to Washington's class.

Unless you and I and John would like to talk it over like civilized people instead of you dealing with Washington.

Please let me know as soon as possible.

"Ok I only need one person to come with me and I choose Eliza cuz I actually need to talk to you." I said. Eliza nodded.

Eliza and I walked out and towards Jefferson's room.

"So what do you need to talk to me about?" She questioned.

"Someone's got a cruuuushhhh *wink wonk*" I said leaning into her.

"What do you mean?" She asked trying to play it off.

"You like Maria don't you? I've seen the way you look at her. You have googoo eyes around her all the time." I said with a grin.

"Is it really that obvious?" Eliza asked.

"SO YOU DO LIKE HER!" I screamed "Time for us to play match maker!"

We continued "gossiping" until we got to Jefferson's room.

"This shouldn't take long" I said as I tapped a copy of the article and the letter on the door of his dorm. "I suggest you get ready to run"

"Wha..?" I caught her off and ran down the hall all the way back to the dorm.

Breathless we made it back. We slammed the door shut.

"Ok??...." said Angie.

"Don't question it." I said.

"Ok well let's head back to our dorm Sisters." Angelica said taking Peggy's hand. "See you all later" they said at once.

"Oh and Liza, stop by my dorm tomorrow around 12:30 I want to talk to you" I said before they left.

"See you there!" She yelled back as they walked away.
