Whitechapel, London, 1868
London was streaming with seemingly excessive amounts of people who filled the vast space with a loud hum of chatter.
Katherine watched eagerly as two young children hurried past her, grinning and laughing with delight as they chased each other.
"I've never seen so many people all at once." Jacob commented as he, Evie and Katherine pushed their way through London's busy streets.
"The churning seas of London." Katherine mused sotto voce, too quiet for the others to hear as her curious eyes explored the bustling street.
"It's just the way father described." Evie marvelled excitedly before turning to the others and growing serious. "Now," She began as she established their next course of action. "To find Henry Green and formulate a plan of attack against the Templars."
"Who is Mr Green again?" Jacob asked ignorantly, watching blankly as Evie's eyes narrowed in on him with disbelief.
"He's the Assassin watching over London?" Katherine recalled, her distracted eyes not ceasing in their hasty movement.
"Yes." Evie confirmed, gawking at the distracted girl with sudden respect. Evie glared at her brother and growled with exasperation, "Did you not listen the first three times?"
Jacob grinned innocently. "Listen to what?" He prodded playfully as Evie groaned and rolled her royal blue eyes.
Suddenly, someone bumped into Jacob, causing him to stumble forward with a short gasp.
"Oi!" He exclaimed with annoyance, turning stiffly to see a young slave boy with a dirt-smudged rounded face. "Watch it." Jacob warned, giving the child a pointed glare.
The boy began recoiling apologetically. "Beg pardon, sir." He said, stifling a shy grin before scurrying away.
As Jacob watched the child go, he exhaled loudly, shaking his head disapprovingly.
When Katherine failed to conceal her laughter, Jacob eyed her, bemused.
"Missing something, Jacob?" Katherine inquired lightly, clearly entertained by Jacob's ignorance.
Frowning, Jacob began patting down his pockets, suddenly noticing his coin pouch was no longer there.
Evie grinned at her brother's stupidity.
Jacob's eyes spun towards the child who was glancing over his shoulder with a mischievous grin.
"Oi!" Jacob yelled, taking off after him. "Come back here, you filthy dipper!"
"Jacob, stop!" Evie called after her brother, grabbing Katherine by the arm and leading her after Jacob.

Evie and Katherine caught up with Jacob shortly after and found him in a mostly empty alley.
Jacob was grudgingly looking down on two wounded guards, who clutched their injuries and groaned in pain.
Jacob chuckled confidently. "Excellent. What else does London have to offer?"
Katherine glanced around for the slave boy who had pick pocketed Jacob, but he was no where to be seen.
