Alice woke up with the sun beaming through the courtins and illuminating the room. She turned around and initially didn't notice she wasn't in her home; that room was really similar to Josh and Liv's - maybe she just went to their bed in the middle of the night; it happened sometimes.

But then she remembered Liv and Josh went out the night before and she stayed with Dan, Kyle, Woody and Will. They watched some movies and then she fell asleep.

Alice started to panic. Was she still at their place? Did she actually sleep there? Where is her notebook?

She quickly got up and looked around. She really wasn't in Josh and Liv's room. She heard a faint noise coming from downstairs.

''Probably just Dan watching tv or something,'' She thought, trying not to freak out completely by the fact that she slep in his bed and probably annoyed him with that. She tried to think of a good escape, when an idea popped into her head.

''Just make the bed nicely and fix your face then slowly go downstairs, get your notebook, thank him and promess to never bother him ever again.''

She successfully executed the two initial parts of the plan, until Dan came into the room softly calling her. Alice froze and slowly turned around.

- Morning! - Dan smiled. - I made breakfast. I mean, it's not really breakfast, it's just cereal, but if you're interested it's on the counter downstairs! - He said cheerfully. She still didn't speak, just faintly smiled and nodded. - Did you sleep well?

- Oh, yes, thanks. Your bed is... is really cozy. - He chuckled. - Thanks for letting me sleep here and I'm sorry for causing you any trouble whatsoever. - Her voice was just above a whisper.

- Don't worry, Alice. It's a pleasure having you here! - He smiled sweetly and she blushed lightly, smiling too. - So, accept my breakfast offer? - Dan asked as he put an arm around her shoulders. Alice smiled and nodded.

They quietly walked down the stairs and she noticed the tv was on - Friends. Chandler's jokes were the only sound filling the apartment, apart from the noises of the city coming from outside.

She was still wondering why Josh and Liv didn't come pick her up the night before as she sat on the stool on the breakfast bar.

Alice was quietly eating breakfast and admiring Dan's living room while he washed the dishes, when the doorbell rang.

She watched as Dan walked over to the door and disappeared from view, and heard him faintly speaking to someone.

- Oh, hey! Morning! - Pause; she made an effort to make out who spoke and what they said, but she failed. - Oh, yes, she's here, she's eating breakfast. Come in!

As she heard footsteps coming in her direction, she quickly looked back down at the bit of cereal left in the bowl, pretending she didn't even notice Dan was gone.

- Ali! - She heard Josh, and looked up. - Hey! How you spent the night? - She smiled and jumped off the stool to hug him hello, before briefly telling the events of the night before. - That sounds great!

- It really was. - Dan said from behind them, smiling widely. He was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest, seeming quite satisfied about something, probably about Alice actually having fun with them the night before. - We should do that again sometime.

Alice was completely lost for words, but gladly Josh wasn't like that - he actually talked a bit too much sometimes.

- Dan, thank you. - He said. Dan smiled, nodding. - But we gotta get off your hair now, come on Ali, let's go back home. Milo is going crazy without you there. - They laughed and Alice nodded, quickly glacing at the room to check if she hadn't left anything else, and searching for her notebook.

- Oh, - Dan suddenly said, unfolding his arms and walking towards the living room. Quickly he returned with Alice's notebook and pencil. - Last night when you fell asleep it slipped from your hands, so I placed it on the coffee table... I nearly forgot about it. - He awkwardly said as he handed her the notebook, and with the other hand scratched the back of his head.

Alice smiled and thanked him, getting her precious notebook, and after thanking Dan a bit more while he walked them to the door, they left.

When they entered their flat, Liv was beaming with excitement, and soon Alice was bombarded with questions about the night before. Milo, the neediest cat you'll ever hear of, was meowing at her feet, and while she told the story, she petted him, comfortably spread on the couch.
