KATNISS POV
We gave Haymitch a call to ask were the beach house was and he decided just to drop us off. When we finally got there, he said we could stay as long as we would like. Im so happy i get to be here with peeta. And I'm so happy to have an awesome father figure like haymitch. I could basically call him dad, and i love Haymitch he's like family to me. He drove away and waved goodbye as Peeta and i waved in return. "This place is beautiful! But not as beautiful as you!" He says "awww Peeta stop!" I say blushing. We walk up to the house and Peeta offers to carry my bags but i say no because i know i can carry them myself. He's just was trying to be sweet as always which i love about him. "Oh my god look at this place!" I say in amazement. "Isn't it great? Haymitch treats us well doesn't he?" "He sure does!" I smile at him. He kisses me and I ask "Want to go swimming?" "Yea! That sounds fun... But i forgot my swimsuit" i cant help but laugh at him and he blushes. "Thats alright! Just go in your undies!" I chuckle. So he does. I put on my swimming suit and run out of the balcony and tell him to meet me in the water. The beach is like a private lake. You cant see any body else around and i like it this way. I jump in the water and wait for Peeta to come and he does. I cant help but giggle to see him coming in the water in his boxers. "What?" He says "nothing" i say trying not to laugh but a few slip out anyways and it seems to make him smile. I love his smile. We swim in the lake and play in the sand all day and just mess around like little kids. I've never had so much fun in my whole life. We would try to do handstands in the water and burry each other in the sand and laugh more than we have ever laughed before. I have so much fun around peeta. It starts to get dark and we were getting hungry so. We decided to go inside for a while.
PEETA POV
"Wanna have a picnic on the beach" i ask. "Sounds nice" she replies. We go back to the bedroom and dry off and change into normal clothes. Katniss doesn't seem to mind to change in front of me. I don't mind if i change in front of her either. When were done changing we started to gather up all of the food we had made earlier in the bakery and got a big sheet to lay on. We took all of our stuff outside and set it on the ground. Me and Katniss laid out the sheet over the sand and started to dig in. And i remembered to take out my special surprise before she saw it. I couldn't wait to give it to her. But i had to wait till the right moment to do it. We ate everything in sight and i almost forgot about the wine Haymitch got us. Katniss went to open it but she couldn't. "Here let me help you" i say and she hands me the bottle. I crack it open and she smiles. "Mr. Sexy strong arms saves the day!" She says in a low voice and it makes me blush a bit and we both laugh. She takes out the cups and i poor them in the glasses. "Is this your first time having wine?" She asks. "Yeah. I've had a sip or two of Haymitchs' drinks but I've really never drank alcohol before" "me neither" she replied. "Cheers to tonight and a new beginning" I say "And a start of a new family" she adds. Pour glasses touch and we take a sip."hey this stuff isn't too bad!" I say. "Yea no wonder why Haymitch drinks it all the time!" She chuckles and we both bust a gut even though it wasn't that funny but to us it was for some reason. I love being around her because i can be myself and she loves me for who i am. She starts to chug it down but i tell her to slow down because it's her first time and to take it easy so she does. We start to lay down and talk about random things and look up at the stars and cuddle. I wrap my arms around her and he lays hear head on my chest. "So what are we going to name our kids?" I ask. "I don't know it depends is it gonna be a boy or a girl?" She says. "How many kids do you want?" She asks me. "I have always wanted a big family. But it all depends on how many you are comfortable having. So i really don't mind" i say. "Neither do I. As long as I'm with you!" She says and looks up with me with a smile. "Do you want a boy or a girl?" She questions. "Both!" I say still looking into her beautiful grey eyes with a smile. "I cant wait to see what our children look like! They would have my blonde hair and you beautiful grey eyes, your amazing smile, my cheeks, your laugh, they will look so beautiful." I say. She pulls me in and we have a long passionate kiss. I pull away and i stand her up and she looked very confused but i know she will love it. I rub her cheek with my thumb then grasp both of my hands and hold one of hers and I kneel down on one knee and let my hart do the talking,"Katniss, I've loved you ever scence we were 5 years old, and you sang in front of the whole class and everybody was amazed. Even the birds stopped to listen. And right then i knew you were the one i loved. I would watch you walk home everyday and never had the guts to talk to you until the games. And I know my name being drawn was a big piece of luck because i got you now. And it was worth going through those horrid games twice to be able to have an amazing women like you in my life. And i want to have beautiful amazing children with you, and i want to spend the rest of my life with you, Katniss i love you and nothing's ever going to change that,Katniss, will you marry me?" I say pulling out a cookie ring I had made at the bakery. "Peeta how could I say no!" She replied she had tears it her eyes and I said,"sorry i don't have a real ring yet, i just decided today i was going to propose to you, and i thought this would be alright for now" "No its perfect!" She chuckled. "You can eat it if you want" i laughed. "NONONO! It's to precious for that!" She replied and that made me smiled. I didn't know a cookie ring was so special it couldn't be eaten. I love the way she thinks. "Peeta you are the sweetes, most thoughtful, most amazing man I've ever met! And i cant wait for you to be a father, and my husband" she tells me "me neither" i say. I kiss her and she trips over my foot and we fall to the ground. We start to laugh but then she kisses me again. This is the most perfect moment I've ever lived, and so was the rest of the night and it all became a blur.
