A few months later...
KATNISS POV
I wake up to the sickness I feel every morning. I get up go to the bathroom and get dressed. This whole pregnancy thing isn't so easy. My belly has grown a lot in the past couple months. I walk downstairs to go find Peeta but he's in the room next door I'm not allowed to go in. This was supposed to be our child's room. I think he's decorating it or somthing like that. He speds a lot of time in there doing what I'm not allowed to know. I ran downsairs and found some cheese buns Peeta must have made this morning. I cant help but eat almost the whole plate. I'm starving and Peeta's cheese buns are my favorite. Im startled by Peeta when he sneaks up behind me and wraps his arms around me with his hands on my stomach. I turn around and he kissed me. "How's mommy this morning" "Im very exited for this weekend, how's daddy doing?" "I have a beautiful fiancé that I'm getting married to tomarrow, and I have a baby child, what do you think?" Peeta is so good with his words. He always knows how to put a smile on my face. "I love you" "I love you too" I reply. "Do you want to start baking some things for this weekend?" He asks. "I'd love to" I answer. We walk through town and everybody seems to stare at us more than usual. Probably because my stomach is getting a lot bigger. I don't really like it when people stare at us when we walk by it kind of scares me. But Peeta is always there for me. I look up at him and he's nothing but smiles like usual. We walk into the bakery and start to bake all sorts of yummy foods. We make cupecakes, cinimonrolls rolls, cares aunts, cookies, and cheese buns. He wanted to make our wedding cake a suprise though, he always seems to have suprises for me. Just like our wedding rings and the baby's room. He wants them to be suprises too. I love Peeta's surprises. We frost the cupcakes in two colors. I frost my cupecakes in orange frosting, and he frosts his in green. It seems like we have been cooking all day long. We start to get hungrey and we walk over to Haymitch's house to grab a bite then we walk back to our house. We lay on the couch and watch movies. Peeta starts to snore in my ear and i have to cover my mouth to keep my giggles in. Then I realize Peeta has so many suprises and nice things to give me, and I dont give him anything! Mabey I could run into town and pick him up a nice wedding gift. I slowly creep out off the couch, put my jacket on, and tip toe out the door. I walk over to the flea market, They have a bunch. Stuff there Im sure I could find something special for him there. I walk in and find all kinds of things I think peeta might like. But i want to get him somthing absolutley perfect. Something he would love. I look through everything I see but cant seem to find anything, but then I think, what if I just make him something? So i go back to the bakery and make him a suprise present and hide it in a secret spot so I have time to wrap it later. I walk out of the bakery door and start to head home. I walk through the door and Peeta yells,"KATNISS WERE HAVE YOU BEEN IVE BEEN WORRIDE SICK ABOUT YOU!!! I was worried about you! I woke up and you wernt here! I thought something happened to you! Please dont ever do that gain!" And he runs to me and gives me a warm hug. "Im so sorry Peeta, I was just going to the store real quick, Im sorry" He carrots me upstairs and lays me down on our bed and tucks me in. He kisses me on the forehead and starts to walks out the door but then I say, "Peeta, will you stay with me?" He turns around and looks me in the eye and says, "Always" he walks back over to me and crawls in the bed and puts his arms around me. And soon enough, sleep finds me.
PEETA POV
I lie there for a while and Katniss falls asleep after a few minutes so i get up and finish what I need to do. I go to the baby's room and add the finishing touches on the room then walk to the bakery to make our wedding cake for tomarrow. I frost it green and decorate it in orange flowers. I know she will just love it. I put pearls on the edges of the cake also. I put the last touches on the cake and run back home. I don't want Katniss to wake up without me being there. I go up he stairs and into our room and kind Katniss sound asleep just as I had left her. Thank god. I put on my pjs and hopped into bed and wrapped my arms around her and put my hands on her stomach. It's such a wonderful feeling to know I was part of bringing this baby into this world. I couldn't wait to meet them. I couldn't wait to bring them home and watch it grow and bring them to the bakery. I would make them the best birthday cakes. I wonder if we would have another child. I sure hope so. I love children, they are so cute when they are first born with their little tiny fingers and toes! And they are so chubby when the are first born its adorable. Tomarrow was going to be wonder. Tomarrow Katniss was going to be officially mine. The girl I have loved basicly my whole life was about to be mrs. Mellark. I couldn't wait to give Katniss her wedding ring either. I hope she will like it better than the cookie ring i proposed to her with. Katniss woke up and grabbed my hand and rested it on her stomach. "Do you feel that?" She asked "the baby's kicking peeta!" She had the biggest smile on her face. I've never seen her this happy in my life. And I've never felt this happy either. I cant stop smiling and i feel warm wet tears drip from my cheeks "Our baby is so precious I cant wait to meet them" I say wiping the tears from Katniss' face. For the first time in forever, Me and Katniss are truly happy. I'm so happy my life is the way it is today. We later then fall asleep all cuddled up holding onto Katniss' stomach, our beautiful baby child.
