In the summer, the solstice marks the longest day of the year, the sun shining for longer than the moon does.
Terra feels like it is the summer solstice, as every minute the sun is up feels like hours, her anxiety for night to come building with every second that passes. She feels her energy pulsing just under her skin, her gift for Polaris clutched in her fingers-- but not too hard, as it might crease.
She also feels as though this is the day her whole world changes; her own personal solstice. Somehow, she knows that what happens tonight with Polaris is going to change everything for her, hopefully for the better. So she sits and waits, a thrumming in her heart as she anticipates what is to come.
