Pages and pages of stars. Pencil, pen, crayon, pastel, any drawing device imaginable. Sometimes even with the dirt under his fingernails. Whatever will get the job done as he gazes up at the night sky, dotted with white spots that flow from space onto his sketchbook.

Polaris doesn't mind staying up late for the stars. He figures the stars stay up every night for him, so he might as well return the favor. He ventures out every evening as the sun sets to capture the exact moment the stars arrive, a pencil tucked behind his ear and a sketchbook clutched to his chest.

The stars never change, but Polaris never gets tired of drawing them. Why exactly, he isn't sure, but he knows he feels a connection to them deep inside. So he goes out every night to draw the stars.

And every night, without fail, Polaris will journey home with a drawing of the stars just as beautiful as that of the night before, and he is happy.
