When the sun has just set, there is a sort of darkness that blankets the world. The darkness isn't oppressive, but it still darkens the world majorly. During that time, it is very hard to take a good photo.
So Terra is about to take her last photo of the day when a shadow darts across her field of view. When she looks up, she doesn't see it, but when she calls out into the darkness, Polaris happily walks up to her.
She makes him sit with his face to the moon and takes a picture of him as the first star blooms above her in the sky.
He sweeps her into a hug, and she is happy. She promises to show him the picture after it develops, and he nods and thanks her.
There is a moment of silence between them as they both scramble for their next words. Eventually, Terra just sweeps Polaris into another hug before making her way back along the darkening landscape, shadows flicking across her expression.
