"Noctis! Give me my teddy bear back!" Princess Hadria giggled at the young prince Noctis. They ran in circles as she tried to get her prized possession back.
"If I don't give it back?" He retorted back as he came to an abrupt stop and held the toy well out of her reach.
"Then I'm gonna tell on you!" She mustered up her scariest voice, but all the prince could do was laugh. He carefully gave her the teddy bear, and giggled. The satisfaction on her face made him happy. The fun did come to an end when King Regis came into the room silently to observe the two kin. He almost couldn't bring himself to interrupt the playful two, but it was time to leave.
"Noctis, it is time to leave. We are having lunch with Lunafreya in half an hour." The King stood behind his son, picking him up in the process. Both the prince and princess put up a fight.
"Father I don't wanna spend time with her! I'm fine staying here, I promise!" Noctis pleaded with his father. Regis sighed softly and shook his head. He was about to speak, but Hadria beat him to it.
"Please, King Regis? Only ten more minutes? We didn't get done drawing our castles."
"I'm terribly sorry, Princess Hadria, but we can't be late this time. I assure you that Noctis can come back in a few days and you both can all have the fun you want." The King knelt down to her height and patted her head. She pouted for a minute, but quickly nodded while giggling. Regis chuckled as he stood back up and walked out the room door.
"I'll see you soon, Hadria! We can finish drawing next time!" Noctis yells as he left the room with his father. Hadria laughed to herself while she put the unfinished drawings in a safe place.
