Her heart strings pulled when she saw Noctis in distress. The last time she saw him like this was when he couldn't tie his own shoes. The two girls followed behind her as the caught up with the four in front of them.
"Prince Noctis, may we have a word for just a second?" Hadria's voice was loud, and he didn't look back at her. Hadria grew flustered and she attempted to get his attention again.
"Your Highness, will you please have a chat with me. It is of serious matter!" Hadria yelled at him, but she got nothing. Her blood boiled, and the three boys following Noctis glanced back at her with a look that said we-are-sorry-for-his-behavior. Hadria grew tired of his childish act and pulled him back roughly by his shirt. He yelled in protest, trying to break free.
"It's one thing to ignore a commoner, but it's another thing to ignore someone of the same power, or in your case, someone of higher power." Hadria spoke with a low tone as she made him face him. He couldn't put a name to her face, until his brain recognized her voice.
It's the same as when we were just kids... Noctis thought. He looked her in the eyes, and cleared his throat.
"I'm sorry, Princess. I had no idea it was you. It has been quite some time since we have talked to each other." Noctis spoke in a soft tone, trying not to anger her anymore than she already is.
"I don't care. I overheard your...discussion about Insomnia, and I'm going to help you." Hadria told Noctis. The young prince was taken back by her assertiveness. He opened his mouth to protest, but Ignis had his shoulder to whisper in Noctis's ear.
"We need all the help we can get, your highness. I suggest you let them tag along." Noctis nodded at Ignis and thought for a moment. Hadria grew impatient with the prince. She was about to just go on without him, but he stopped her from doing so.
"You have ten minutes to get ready, or we are leaving without you." He said with a firm tone. Hadria gritted her teeth, and ran quickly back to the condo with the two others. The princess was fuming at how Noctis treated her, yet she put the feeling aside to get her stuff packed up again. Kiora and Io were doing the same, but didn't say a word to the princess because they both valued their lives.
Finally the were all packed up and dressing up into correct attire for a fight they walked back out to the buys. Noctis was already in the backseat of his car sleeping. Ignis approached the girls, introducing himself and the two other men.
"I'm terribly sorry for Prince Noctis. He is having such a horrid time. Please let me introduce ourselves, I'm Ignis, the blonde one is Prompto, and the one with tattoos is Gladio." They gave the girls a small wave, and Hadria cleared her throat.
"It's wonderful to meet you, gentlemen. I'm Princess Hadria of Accordo. These are my friends, Kiora and Io." Hadria said, pointing to each one as she said their names. Ignis gave everyone the run down before they all hopped into their designated cars. Hadria got into the front passenger seat, Kiora got into the driver side, and Io in the back where she laid down. The Princess's stomach twisted when she finally realized what she got herself into.
I'm threatening my friend's lives and my kingdoms lives if we all perish in this fight.
Hadria's mind was going a mile a minute. She bit her lip softly as she looked up into the sky. It was cloudy and depressing. Taking a look at both of her friends, she silently prayed for the safety for them, and the four boys they followed behind.
"It may be a few hours before we get there, you both might want to get some sleep. We're going to have an eventful few weeks ahead of us." Kiora advised us. Io was all up for sleeping of course. Hadria hesitated for a few minutes before Kiora took notice. The reliable friend didn't look at the helpless princess as she spoke to her.
"You're scared, I know. I understand that you can't get the terror out of your mind now, but you can't regret the choices you make anymore. Noctis is at a vulnerable point right now, so put on a poker face, grip your weapon, and destroy everything the Imperial army gives you. Your parents wouldn't expect anything less of you, would they?" Kiora became a life coach for a few minutes. Hadria swallowed her pride slightly while she nodded. She hated to admit it, but Kiora was right.
"When we find out more about this problem in Lucis, I wish to talk to my sister and tell her about my situation." Hadria spoke softly, crossing her legs in her seat. Kiora smiled in satisfaction at the Princess answer. Hadria ruffled through the cd's in the car before Io had awoken from her short nap and searched through them with her. Io screeched loudly and the two other girls screamed in return. Io held a cd in arms while she laughed.
"What on earth would make you make such a god awful noise?!" Hadria yelled at Io in annoyance. Io showed them the cd, making them both facepalm.
"It was from the last vacation we went on! We were so emo back then, guys! Let's play it one more time for time sake." Io shoved the cd in, not caring what the others protested.

"Turn it off! Turn my misery off!" Hadria laughed as they fought over the radio. The guys that were awake in front of them, looked back in questioning. Io looked them all in eyes while she turned the volume up. Hadria slumped in her seat, hoping the boys would only judge Io and not her. Kiora sped up into the passing lane, and became parallel to the car Ignis was driving. Hadria slowly looked over to the guys, and they all had a raised eyebrow. Noctis was now awake due to the loud music. Io started singing obnoxiously with the music, and soon followed Prompto along with her. Gladio chuckled, mouthing the lyrics. Hadria sat there awkward as Kiora was singing along quietly too. Everyone besides Hadria and Noctis were getting into the song. An idea popped into the princess's, but her conscious was holding her back. She shook her head, and stood up the best that she could while singing along to the music.
"Princess, please be careful!" Said most of the at the same time. Her black lacy dress flowed in the whipping breeze and she felt like her worries were being drifted away. She looked over at Noctis and his face showed nothing but amusement. She snapped her head quickly the other way with a blush creeping onto her cheeks. Suddenly both cars screeched to a halt, throwing the princess back into her seat. The imperial army had blocked every entrance into Lucis. Ignis led them onto a dirt road that no one seemed to be guarding. Once they got to the top, they met the infamous imperial army. The girls looked at each other with thrill in their eyes. Kiora took out a sword that was passed down through her family. Io revealed her collection of daggers by shifting her coat. Hadria looked down at her chest, eyeing the mark of her ancestors, a small and black circle no bigger than her palm. She placed her hand over the circle, making it shine bright. Slowly a scepter formed in front of Hadria, and she held onto it with a death grip.
Kiora was wrong. This is going to take way more than just a few weeks to fix.
+Hey y'all! I hope this chapter isn't cringey! Anyways, on thursday I might post a chapter with just pictures of Hadria's dress, her weapon, what they all look like in general, etc. If you see a picture of you or anyone you know and disapprove of me having it up, PLEASE TELL ME. I say that just to make sure because you never know. I didn't really proof read this because I'm lazy, so if it's terrible let me know and I will revise it.That's all that I really have to tell y'all right now, so I hope you enjoy the chapter!
P.S- If you know the song that I mentioned up above, comment it and I'll give you a reward (I have no idea what the reward would be. We can figure it out.) This is only to the first person though!
