"Princess Hadria, will you be attending Prince Noctis's and Princess Lunafreya's wedding?" Kiora, her friend and right hand man, asked her in a hushed tone. Hadria rolled her eyes as she looked over the city from her balcony. She gripped the bars tightly, turning back to Kiora and spat out.
"Why would I go to something not worth my time? I have an empire to attend to. Not some marriage that was arranged and forced." Hadria pushed off the balcony bars with great force and stormed down the dark, black hallway.
"Hadria please, he wants you to come see him on this happy day. He still thinks about you!" Kiora addressed the princess like she does when it is only the two alone, hoping she could get through to Hadria. Kiora frantically caught up with the brooding Princess. Hadria stopped in her in her tracks, looking back at her panicked companion.
"I don't care if he thinks about me. I don't care what he does. I don't care about him. He is a nothing to me and neither is that girl. I wish to not go to the wedding and that is final." Hadria had a threatening voice as her eyes pierced through Kiora. Kiora got the sign to leave the situation alone, but will bring it up again in the near future.
"As you wish, Princess." Kiora said in defeat, but continues on, "Would you still like to go on the little vacation we planned?" she asked the princess. Hadria loosened up her posture at the thought of a break from the kingdom. She nodded her head at Kiora with a small smile.
"Yes, let Io know that she should be ready in an hour. I believe that she isn't ready." Hadria laughed softly as she turned back around.
"As always. I will be back soon to help you pack." Kiora said before leaving Hadria alone. Hadria sighed as she was left to herself and quietly went to her royal room to finish getting ready.
It hadn't taken more than twenty minutes for Hadria to pack up a bag. They were only going to spend two nights at the beach in a nice condo. Nevertheless, she had to bring her necessary gear incase something happens. She changed into the proper beach attire, which also made her less noticeable as a princess. Her father was the King of Accordo and her mother was a commoner. She was left Accordo all to herself. She set her stuff right outside her room and took her phone out quickly. No messages. What a relief. She took advantage of the time she had with her two loyal friends. She trusted them dearly, always going to them before making a huge decision. She busted out her sandals , putting them on, and patiently waits for the two.
Half an hour later both girls barge in with their suitcases.
"Sorry Prin-" Io was interrupt immediately by Hadria.
"You don't have to address me like that. We are on vacation. Act normal. I don't want a lot of people noticing me." Hadria explained, watching the two examine her outfit. They both nod, as they were dressed the same way. They rushed to the car, throwing their cases in the trunk. Kiora volunteered to drive, knowing that Io would crash instantly. It was only a forty minute drive from the castle, so the two not driving kicked back in their seats and relaxed. It had been a while since someone spoke up, so Io gladly put her two cents in.
"I don't think I have ever seen you this relaxed for quite some time, Hadria. Something got you happy?" Io said, opening one eye to look at Hadria.
"Maybe it's the fresh salty air. I have been needing this for a week or two." Hadria shrugged and closed her eyes while the radio played some soft music.
"I just thought you wouldn't be because of the invitation to Noc-" Io couldn't finish her sentence. Kiora had swerved the car, making Io launch to the other side of the car. Hadria knew what she was going to say, and was hoping to forget about it soon.
"Well here we are! So glad we got here at the perfect time, right Io?" Kiora sent a glare back at Io. She obliged instantly and gulped. They all hopped out of the car, and proceeded into their high class condo. It was ground level and was connected to a few other condos. They were told that four men would be staying in the one to their left. They didn't really care that four guys would be living next to them, but hoped they wouldn't make much of a ruckus. It was dinner time, so they all decided that eating out was a good idea. They walked down to the pier to the open restaurant.
