We went to ghastly, he smiled as he saw me, I smiled back " serpine has skulduggery "

he nodded and invited us in .He gave us are clothes. I looked at them in awe. The leather jacket. was a midnight black.Along the shoulders a stripe of dark red ran across them. Along the hem of the sleves and the coller there was the same dark red. The tabletop was a light blue and the jeans a dark midnight blue. I smiled at ghastly thanking him.I went into the bathroom and got changed. When ghastly called people, I started to practise magic and try to help Val. Val was able to summon a spark. But she was getting there. Meanwhile all I could do was a gentle breeze. Ghastly went to a weapons bag, I followed and saw 2 daggers. Ghastly told me if I showed him,what I could do with them I could use them.

Ghastly came at me like a bull. I waited till last minute and grabbed his shoulders and swung myself over him.He nearly ran into the wall.When he was recovering I ran over to him and pointed the dagger at the chest. " how did you do that"

" I have done gymnastics for years now "

he laughed, Stephanie took a sword.

we heard a van outside and we walked out and got into the van. Their where cleavers and Tanith surprisingly was here.

(ghastly)" ok the plan is rescue skulduggery "

They all shook their heads but I spoke up " the place is a castle, I am sure he will have guards there.So maybe if we scale the walls Sneak along them to a tower.Then we lure guards if any guarding the door to the tower, then we scale the walls jump down, order the cleavers to attack. We run into the castle, go to the dungeons and search the cells quickly. avoid serpine at all costs"

They stared at me and I had to look down

" finally skulduggery finds a plan maker"

we all laughed.

We arrived at serpine castle. To find tree men walking around the place. We ran towards the wall, I found my footing and had no problem getting to the top .I crouched down low walking across the wall but Stephanie hit a a rock and the tree guards looked up and saw us. I leaped down

The hollow men as ghastly called them.Turned to look at me, I acted swiftly like Tabitha said show no mercy or weakness. I slashed and stabbed, the gas that came out made my eyes sting .It was more of a battle yo keep them open than to fight the hollow men

We left the cleaners to fight and Tabitha broke the lock on the door to the dungeons.

We sneaked around untill we found skulduggery. Tabitha picked the lock. I stood guard at the door.

Suddenly a force hit.me and I fell back smashing my head off the wall.I grunted. I looked up at my attacker it was lexy " you bitch how did you block me " she grabbed my hair as skulduggery ,ghastly,Tanith and valkerye came out of the cell. She lifted my by my hair and took out a dagger and pressed it hard against my neck. The others froze. I saw a lamp in the corner of my eye. I moved my finger gently and the lamp rose off the table it hovered for a.moment before falling to the ground. Lexy turned. I got up and punched her across the face the way ghastly showed me.I grabbed her hair and smashed her against the wall she.fell to the ground. The others stared at me. " what she got on my nerves" they laughed and we ran to the van to freedom
