alexa pov

i woke up on the couch with mom sitting right across from me , i sat up and nearly fell back down ' Hey mom i didnt here you come in . ' 'you and your sister where sleeping i thought i would be quiet , are you ready to go home' I nodded and woke stephine up and we walked out to the car .

We arrived home .And i went up to my room stephine was being made go out clothes shopping .I began to read one of gordens books when i heard a tap on my window , i jumped up and relaxed to see it was skulduggery .I gently opened the window so no one could hear

' what are you doing here , i thought it was tonight '

' I came to teach you magic but if you wish i left it , i could allways go out ' he motioned to the window but i could tell he was smiling

' sure stay if you wish , i am trying to use air but to no advail

' just imagine the air as an invisable wall that you can push and bend '

I tried to imagine that but it still wouldnt work i began to get angry and that is when i accidently sent Skulduggery flying , i heard him grunt as i rushed over to see if he was ok

' told you , you could do it , but next time , please dont use me as target pratise '

I laughed but i didnt like how my emotions where controlling my magic more than i was, what if i really hurt someone that i didnt want to . Skulduggery left after he made me do a spell on my mirror to give me a reflection , i tapped the mirror and it walked out , it freaked me out so i asked it to do my homework and study down in the kitchen , suddenly my window broke and a masked figure appeared she pointed at me and suddenly my mind felt like it was being kicked i didnt even have time to scream out , i was unconious to the world.

Stephine pov .

when i got home from shopping , which i hated so much i felt sick , I found Alexa and skulduggery learning magic in our room , i joined in but it was way harder than it looked , i was a bit angry at Alexa she could but only when she was angry or frustated . I went downstaires when skulduggery left to get something to eat. I heard the window break and i ran upstaires to see a hooded woman dragging alexa into a van 'ALEXA' i quickly pulled out my phone and rang skulduggery

' Skulduggery ,alexa someone kidnapped her '

' WHAT ?!?!??!?!?!'
