Chapter 24: You're not the only one with Red Eyes

Right before Hamal threw the first punch at Merak, A voice cried out "STOP!" and the four guys did so. The young woman whom seem to be a waitress came up to them and said, "look I dont know what going on here, but if you going to fight, take it outside. we dont want you guys to destroy this place."

"Yeah I would want to either" Izar said, "The food was very good."

"just go deal with whatever is going on between you guys outside." she grumbled. Before the guys leave the building, Acrab put some money on the table because he did want to rude with no one was able to pay for the meal after the fight. The Stars went outside so that they could finished what need to be done.

"Why must you do this Mercury?" Ruby went to her knee and cried. "Why must you do this?

"Oh," Mercury came closer to her "You know exactly why!"

"Look we could do this the easy and everyone get back in the restaurant or we could this the hard way and fight it out." Hamal yelled at the other three.

"Sorry man, but I cant just leave our friend in the states they are in" Merak said. The four of them dash at each other and after all the chaos for the team Star battle Hamal was one the pass in the middle of the street and the other put him on the a park bench that was nearby and run off to help their friends on Team Gem.

As Mercury came closer to Ruby, her glow began to slowly glow brighter and brighter. Her eyes started to glow a bright red as well. When he almost to her, she looked up and he saw her glowing red eyes; he took a few steps back in fears. he seen her hair glow but never her eyes. She didn't know what going on. She got up from the ground because she felt a strange source of strength. "Sapphire!" Merak came running in to the field along with Izar and Acrab. Ruby didn't do much to notice them but Mercury look their way and tried to do something but nothing happen. What happen to his magic. Well Ruby's glowing eyes stop all people who also have red eyes to using their magic and boost her strength.

Merak run straight to Sapphire. when he Came close to her, she opened her eyes but she felt too weak to move anywhere. He pick her up and carried her to safer place and then He came back to sense of the fight. "No.." Mercury was worried. "How? How are you able to do that. I through that was for only people with red eyes."

Ruby looked straight at Mercury "you're not the only here with red eyes." She get ready to use her fire magic. At this moment Emerald and Topaz both stand up both very weak barely able to stand. They also get ready to using their magic. Merak return and ready's up his magic. Izar and Acrab also get their magic ready to use. Sapphire in her braveness wobbled back to the fight and prepared to use her magic. Everyone formed a circle around Mercury. Ruby looked at everyone who seem to help her with her fight, she simply said "Now," and all at once everyone charged at Mercury causing him pretty vanish.

Ruby's hair and eyes dull, and she faints. The others pick her and bring the gems back to there dorm. "Thank you" Sapphire faintly told Merak as he sit down to her in her bed, "Thanks for keeping your promise."

"Of course," Merak grab hold on her hand, "you know I will always love you."
