So this chapter is WAY over due. You may be expecting it so be some kind of mega long chapter but unfortunately, it isn't.

BUT.

It's in Hunter's POV! YAY!

A few of you have been requesting it so here we go! I took a while to write this because obviously, I'm not a guy, so I wouldn't really know how a guy would think but I tried.

I've also been pretty busy with dealing with life things

*cough* *cough* this damn boy who will not leave me the fudge alone. *cough* *cough*

so that's nice... I guess.

But like seriously, I've spent so much time just freaking sitting around and contemplating what the hell I did to piss off life for it to hate me this much to bless me (if this is even a blessing) with a boy who doesn't get the hint that I DON'T LIKE HIM.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this chapter, vote, comment share.

And as always, I'll see you at the end of this chapter.

Also, THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR OVER 50K READS OMLLML <3

+Hunter's POV+

I slammed the door of my office closed as I sat down into my seat. I ran my fingers through my hair as I let out a sigh. It had been a stressful week at the company and things didn't seem as though they were going to get better anytime soon.

I had just lost a very important business deal with the Strauss Company in Ireland and it had cost me thousands upon millions of dollars.

Employees have been taking breaks left and right after finding out about what happened to Jordan because they were concerned for their safety, especially after security had to chase Mr. Moore down, the morning that I had gone to the police station to talk to Cooper, he wouldn't say anything other than giving me that stupid smirk that he always has. I was milliseconds from punching that asshole but the guard came in to stop me. The more time that passed by the more frustrated I'd get and no matter how many threats I had given him, he still kept that mouth closed.

I needed information, and I needed it soon. I had the suspicion that Mr. Moore was somehow connected with Adam, Payton's ex boyfriend but without proof, I couldn't keep him locked up forever without solid evidence. How the hell did Mr. Moore know about Jordan? I hadn't seen any news articles about it so he either had to have been there during the fight, or was informed of it after it had taken place.

I still didn't like that guy Jordan very much, but for the sake of Payton, I had to find out. Ever since that night that Payton had gotten phone call from Gideon, it seemed as though she would never get a good night's sleep. It was only until he woke up two weeks ago when she had started to relax a bit more. There were multiple occasions while Jordan was still in the hospital where she would wake up in the middle of the night, crying. Although I never came out of my room to comfort her, I'd stay lying in bed, stalk still as I heard footsteps going down the stairs but not coming back up.
