They were in the car, racing against time. Mr Salvatore had insisted on coming to get Damon. He wants to show his son that there was a world of vampire and that he wasn't crazy. As they pulled up to the Halloween party, he could see a man with green hair who had Damon's blue eyes. He must be in costume, he thought to himself.

"Get in." Lizzie told Damon wanting to go and look for Katherine right away. Damon folded his arms.

"No." He said.

"No?" They all said in unison.

"Sorry, is there an echo in here."
sneered Damon, "Yes, I said no. I refuse to go with you until you give me actaaul proof of the exists ce of vamprires."

"But Fanta where were going, son. To get proof." His father said as if speaking to a child.

"I am not getting. In. This. Car. Till I have some sort of proof."

Katherine was now at the Halloween party in search of her sister. Many people mistakes her for Elena and said 'hi' so Katherine put her hood up, not wanting to talk to anyone. After what seemed like hours of searching but in fact was only a few minuets, she finally spotted Elena alone at a makeshift bar. Katherine was starting to fell hungry again and she knew that if she didn't want to kill everyone at the party then she needed to get out. And soon.

Katherine made her way over to her and grabbed her sisters arm and Elena let out a gasp. When Elena saw it was Katnerine she eased up and tried to shrug out do Katherine's hold but she held her hand tight on Elena's arm. Stefan had left to use the bathroom and Elena was thirsty so descided to go get a glass of water. If she thought that she was going to get dragged outside by her twin sister who had a me serous loon on her face, then she wouldn't of let Stefan leave. But it's too late for that.

Damon and his father were still arguing and Lizzie was getting even tenser if that was possible. Well, that was until she spotted her target come out of the party dragging Elena behind her.

Perfect. The front garden was empty apart from them and Elena and Katherine. This was her chance to kill Katherine. Without further thought Liz jumped out of the car and pulled her gun out of her belt. Katherine back was facing her. The girls were obviously in deep conversation and hadn't noticed her but Jenna had. Just as Liz pressed the bullet her friends scream filled the air. "Elizabeth no!" Bang!

Katherine turned around and ducked the bullet just in time. Although Katherine had came out unscathed, someone else hadn't. Someone who didn't have healing powers. Elena had taken the shot and she fell to the ground.

Katherine fell to her knees and sobbed putting pressure on her sister wound. Blood was everywhere. On the ground. On her hands. She just couldn't stop it. Her teeth started to wxtend and she growled.

Everything happened so fast. His dad had taken his gun and had shot the girl in the head who was just about to sink her teeth in the other girls neck. So it was true. Vampires did exist. But Damon couldn't concentrate on that. A girl had just been shot and was bleeding herself. The woman who had been sitting at the front of the car – who looked like the two girls – was now pacing infringement of it on the phone, presumably calling for help.

Before I knew it my dad and picked up the vampire and put him in the boot of the car as sirens started to be heard and soon a couple of police cars and an ambulance es up. The paramedics imidiatley rushed to the dying girl and tried to stable her. People who had been at the party were now outside and the police were holding them back.

A boy tried to get past the police who Damon recognised as his brother. The sheriff went over to the two police men. "Let him through. He's a born hunter."

Stefan looked at the sheriff as if she'd grown two heads bit non ten less pushed past her. Stefan was so anxious and worried. When he had came back from the restroom Elena gad been gone. He thought something had happened to her but what he saw next was not what he was expecting. Elena was on a stretcher being rolled to an ambulance. She looked lifeless. "Elena!" Stefan screamed as tears began to fill his eyes. He began to chase after her but was held back by his father. "What do you think you're doing?!" He yelled at his father picking him away.

"I need you to calm down, son. There's something I need to tell yo–"

"Calm down! Calm down?! That's my girlfriend being driven to the hospital! I will not calm down!!" Stefan raged.

Hai fathers eyes softened. "Her take my car." He said putting a pair of car keys in Stefan's hand. Stefan nodded and walked past his father and that's when he noticed Damon standing by the car.

"I'm coming with you." He declared, confident that Stefan would agree.

And he did. He was too tuered and worried to argue. "You're driving." Stefan said as he threw his brother the car keys. Damon was a rwcklass driver and what get them there twice as fast.

Katherine woke up in a cell. She has a bad headache and then she remembered the events form before. She had been shot. Elena had been shot.

Katherine had been shot in the head which means gang she should be dead. Yet, she wasn't. It was leopably a vampire thing.

Katherine could feel the bullet in her head and to her great discomfort, she knew she had to pull it. She wiped and groaned as she pulled the bullet out but it didmt hurt as much as she had dreaded. "Hello? Anybody?!" Katheorne called out. It was obvious that he people who took her here either wanted to harm her or wanted something of her so it was odd that they left her alone.

They were propably at the hospital with Elena, Katherine thought. Yeah, that made sence.

She could hear a door opened and she stilled in fear and her breathing grew ragged. Someone was here. With in a blink of an eye her cell door was turn off. It was now obvious that who ever was here was it the same people who had took her otherwise gent would have a key. And whoever was here was definitely not human to be able to rip a metal cell door off it hinges.

Katherine looked up, ready to see who it was.

"Hello, love."

This was actually supposed to be the end of the book and then I was going to do the rest in number two but then descided that I'm not that evil to leave you on such a big cliff hanger.
