We sat down on the couch and she still looked happy. Its that cheeky smile that is almost impossible not to love.

" So do you know what classes your gonna take?" I asked.  (These were usually our conversations.)

" Yeah actually this year I only have to take three classes a semester," she said looking proud.

" Oh is that so," I said sounding nurdy.

" I like it when you talk like that," she whispered.

" Really you don't think it's weird and nerdy," I said looking serious.

" Thats why your my best friend you a little nerd."

I laughed and started to tickle her.  She let out the loudest laugh and started to snort.  I tickled her on the stomach and on the nook of her neck.

" Hey kids be quiet!" my mum yelled.

She sat up and I stopped tickling her.  We didn't say sorry all we did was sit there and feel ashamed.  Somthing my mum was very good at.  We got up and I brought  my things to my room.  Everything was pretty much the same but very empty. Just like any other room it has a bed, desk, a few paintings, records, and a lot of books.  I dropped my stuff on the floor and didn"t bother putting it back.

" Hey I made you somthing when I was away ," I said pulling out a sheet of paper from my back pack.

" Wait they let you paint in rehab?" Scarlett asked.

" I know I was surprised myself, but yeah here," I stated handing her a peice of normal sized paper.

It was a picture of my veiw from my room. Well from a nighttime pespective.  The buildings look way bigger at night than they do during the day.  The steet lights were absolutely inspiring.  And the stars made the sky sparkle.  When you look at it, its almost makes you feel infinite.

" Marcel this is beautiful thank you," she said giving me a hug.  " Hey do you remember when we first me?" She asked me looking serious.

" Of course I do. You had on the biggest glasses and I remeber you just moved and for some odd reason you were giving away free books to people in the neighborhood," I laughed.

" No, no, no I remember my Nan coming to visit the new house and she told me that some children in other countries don't get books... so I felt bad and I decided to give nice people I have never met book," she said laughing so hard.

"Are you serious?" I said.  I could feel my face getting red with laughter.  She really made me laugh.

" Dead serious.  I remember her actully feeling bad I had so many books."

" Why would she feel bad? And how old were we?" I asked honestly not knowing the answer.

" I have no idea.  And oh we had to be what five." She said looking like she was thinking hard.

I started to laugh as hard as possible.  I almost fell off my chair with laughter.  " Oh Scar."

" What?!"

" You are really my best friend," I said running up to her and giving her a big bear hug.

" I know," she giggled.  " So your back...Whats the first thing you wanna do?"

" I have no idea," I said looking around my room.

" I got an idea," my friend said with a mysterious look on her face.
