*Night Terrors

Calums POV

Serenity rested her head on my shoulder gently, a few seconds passed and I thought this was the right opportunity.

I reached into my back pocket and collected the ladybug pacifier, slowly slipping the nib into her mouth as her eyes closed gently.

A warm smile spread across Luke's face as he watched the scene play out.

The movie played out for about 5 more minutes before I felt Serenity's head get heavier on my shoulder, and soft snores escaping around the red and black pacifier.

"I'm gonna head up now" I stated stretching my arms, before cradling Serenity to my chest.

"Goodnight mate," Ash and Mikey said in unison.

Luke stood to his feet following behind me as I lead us all to the nursery, turning on the tinted vanilla light and entering the simple pastel coloured room.

I lowered her into her crib, leaving a delicate kiss upon her cheek, as I tucked her amongst the blankets and stuffies.

Luke wrapped his arms around my waist, resting his head on my shoulder. "She's so cute". He whispered.

"Mmm" I agreed, yawning.

"Cmon, let's get you to bed" he cooed, kissing my neck and dragging me by the hand towards his room.

I obliged politely as we entered the dark room.

Luke opened his closet pulling out some boxers and a pair of sweatpants Quickly getting changed before joining me in bed.

His hands wrapped around my waist, pulling me into his comfort. His hot breath famed at my neck as I slowly slipped into sleep.

A desperate crying sound was heard a few rooms down, as my eyes opened. My hands reached for the covers, but Luke pulled them back kissing my knuckles in the process. "I got her" he mumbled walking out groggily.

I sunk back into the comfortable covers, closing my eyes patiently.

Luke's POV

I opened the door to her nursery, the fairy lights illuminating the room.

A small whimper escaped her lips, "Daddy" she pleaded reaching her hands up towards me.

"Shhh baby girl" I sat her up on my hip, gently patting her back. Her cries soon turned to hiccups as I made myself downstairs. Fetching the bottle from the fridge and placing it in the microwave.

I placed her on the marble counter, feeling her head, which was extremely hot. "Shit, baby you are burning up" I cursed removing her onesie in one swift motion. "c-c-cold" she stuttered trying to cuddle back into me.

I quickly took my shirt off and placed it over her bare torso. "All better baby" I whispered collecting the bottle from the microwave and picking Serenity back up.

The walk upstairs was kind of difficult, but it wasn't the hardest.

I walked back into my room hopping back in the bed next to Calum. Cradling Serenity to my bare chest as I placed the nib of the bottle in her mouth.

She gulped down the warm milk appreciably.

Calum sat up adorning the scene. He rubbed at Serenity's back. "Was it a bad dream Princess" he asked.

She nodded her head, before closing her eyes.

Her bottle was now finished and Calum put it on his side of the bed as Luke's slipped the pacifier in her mouth.

They both lied down, cuddling their baby to there chest.

All falling asleep, leaving the only sound of quiet snores to fill the room.
