*Chapter 27

It had been about a week since the incident, and to say the boys had to be careful about what they said was an understatement. You see Serenity had been a bit fragile as they boys liked to all it.

She hadn't adapted back to the word 'daddy', and she was nor any better with trust.

As soon as the boys would put her on the changing table, she would turn from their sweet little princess, into a crying, kicking mess. It was very concerning, especially when she was being fed. The sound of the fridge really triggered her, and again she would cry and scream until they let her down.

She was becoming a bit of a problem, but none of the boys had the guts to discipline her, mainly because it was her first week back.

Ashton had actually sat down with her a few days ago and asked her about Liam's place, what they did to her. But she went completely mute and didn't end up talking for the rest of the day.

They took her to the doctors for a check up, and Serenity bit the doctor, not enjoying the proximity of the elder man. The guy kicked the boys out immediately, and now if they ever need to use the hospital, they have to travel two towns over.

Luke's Pov.....

"Go away" she cried, cowering towards the corner.

My heart sunk as I watched her back away from me.

The hurt and pain was real as i watched her cry her heart out. "I -w-w-ant c-calum" she hiccuped, bringing her knees to her chest.

At the point I knew I was screwed, the rest of the boys had left during her nap to go shopping.

"Calums out, princess" I implored, crouching down beside her.

"Nu nu nu" she sputtered, putting her hands in front of her face, blocking me from her view. "I wan cw-w-alm-m" her sobs turning into yells.

My hands reached for her body, as I tugged her closer. She resisted at first, but then slowly sunk into my touch.

The warmth of her body radiating off her.

"Does you n-no love me" she rejoiced, her bottom lip quivering out.

My eyes dropped to her innocent eyes, "why would you even think that" I lilted, bringing my gaze to her shivering body.

She looked as she was about to speak, but instead shrugged her shoulders instead.
"N-nevermind"

"I love you Serenity" I professed, twirling her hair around my fingers.

The room fell silent for a split second, as her eyes scanned my face. Almost if she was questioning if I was telling the truth.

"I love you too" she smiled, cuddling further into my chest.

My lips curved into a smile as i glanced down at Serenity. Her eyes closing passively.
