*Hospital Rooms

Have you ever had that feeling where you just want to reverse time and fix something, because you know nothing will probably be the same again?
Well, that's what Ashton was thinking right now. He knew as soon as Serenity awoke she would want nothing to do with him, and he could respect that. But in reality, it was only punishment.

He sat patiently in the waiting room, awaiting his name.

You see, turns out he technically he didn't do anything. He explained everything to the police. And well it's not exactly illegal, it's not even close to illegal. The police dropped him off at the hospital, bid his farewells and left, driving off elsewhere.

Ashton impatiently tapped his fingers along to the random beat playing along in his head. He desperately just wanted to see Serenity. He was so sincerely sorry, he wasn't himself last night.

You see when he went back to the lounge last night, he honestly thought serenity had been put to bed. So... He drank a few beers and a few turned into a lot.

"Mr Irwin"
The lady spoke interrupting his thoughts, presenting herself with a dark blush that scattered across her face.

Ashton stood to his feet following the middle aged women down the hall.

"Here we are" she spoke politely, opening the door before quickly leaving.

Ashton entered the room and his eyes landed on Serenity, tube amongst tube connected to her.

His eyes scanned her peaceful face as sat down on the side couch "what did I do?" he mumbled.

Calums eyes opened, panic rushing to thought immediately "Serenity, where's serenity" he asked, sitting upright.

The nurse rushed to his side quickly escorting him to lay back down, "sir you need, to rest. Please lay back down" she hushed. Pushing at Calums chest.

Calum sat right back up though "I need to see her, is she okay" he questioned tugging at his covers.

"Sir she's fine, please lay back down"

Calum pulled the blanket from his body and stood to his feet.

The nurse pulled him back slightly towards the bed...

"Don't touch me" Calum hastily spat, submerging the needle from his arm

The nurse stood back and let Calum continue on with what he was doing. "Now if you don't mind, what room is Serenity in," he asked in a monotone.

"Room 206"

Calum nodded and left the lady speechless as he exited the room. He walked down the empty hallways, gathering a few strange glances.

Calum came to room 206 and opened the door, immediately regretting it when he saw Ashton sitting on the couch.

Calum shared an unapproved look with Ashton as he sat down next to him, the white hospital gown hanging loosely from Calums body.

Ashton glanced over at Calum.

His face fulfilled with all sorts of multicoloured bruises ranging and differing from size. He felt bad for Calum, especially knowing that the had done that to his own band mate.

The room was filled with a hush silence as they stared ahead at Serenity's body. The awaiting suspense of her waking very soon

The doctor soon walked in, walking over to Serenity and quickly checking her heartbeat "I'm assuming you guys are the pare- .. caregivers" he corrected himself, holding out his hand.

 Calum shook his hand ever so slightly before letting go.

"That would be correct" Ashton coughed, clearing his throat and firmly shaking the mans hand.

"Well it seems that Serenity has suffered from severe cutting on her upper back and her mid thigh. she has also has pretty bad bruising on her backside, and a fractured tailbone" the doctor informed handing us the information sheet.

I looked over at Serenity, she deserved so much more than this...
