Violet's P.O.V
I was utterly shocked. I was a freaking dragon!!!! And I'm purple!!!! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhh! I'm a giant purple people eater!! (Haha, just had to do that guys (: ) I turned my body to the side, examining my whole body. My eyes were like cats eyes, except they weren't yellow, they were green. My neck was long and flexible, also having large spike running down it and most of my body to my large tail. U had four muscular looking legs and a large body. I had dangerous looking claws that could possibly tear right through something. My wings were also quite large. The were at least 100 feet long each and turned a blue in the middle. My whole body was covered in bright purple scales and to be honest, I was absolutely beautiful. This was awesome.
it is, isn't it? I heard the voice ask.
Who are you? I asked her, or at least I think it was a her.
I am a her, she chuckled. My name is Arrianna and I am your dragon. I can hear your thoughts and you can also hear mine. You also have some powers. You can obviously breathe fire if you please but along with that you have fire powers. You can also turn invisible and teleport. That's pretty much all.
'Wow, that's a lot.' I thought to myself. I heard her chuckled and agree with me. Will you help me with controlling my powers? I asked Arrianna.
Of course, and you also need to be careful and not get to mad. Your powers can get out of control and you could shift. You need to keep our secret because we are one of the last dragon shifters on earth. They have all died at the hands of other supernaturals or dragon hunters. As of right now, there are only 3 more in the world and all of them are here in the U.S. and they are looking for the last one, which just so happens to be us. So don't be alarmed if others with oddly colored eyes come here to town. That's just the dragons. That's all for now. You should probably shift back and go back to the orphanage before the witch wakes up. I giggled, agreeing with her.
Shifting back came naturally and it was less painful than first shifting to my dragon form. When I was done my clothes were still intact and on my body. Looking up, I realized it was almost time I was supposed to be getting up so I sprinted back to the orphanage, much faster than normal may I add, and went through my window. I climbed through just as my alarms went off, so I quickly shut it off and went to get ready for the day.
As I walked into the cafeteria, I was met with the smell of forest and dogs. Wrinkling my nose at the scent, I quickly made my way to the lunch line were I just grabbed an apple and a water bottle before paying. Not looking were I was going, I didn't realize someone stuck their foot out, Intending to trip me. As I started to fall, I stuck my arms out and flipped into a handspring, avoiding the hard, dirty floor of our cafeteria. Picking up the apple and water bottle, I noticed everything was quiet. Looking up, I was met with the intense stares of everyone in the cafeteria. Everyone was gawking openly at me, even the weres. Suddenly shy, I felt a blush rise to my cheeks so I put my head down and ran out of the stunned room and out the school to the forest behind it.
Looking back to the school, I noticed I had caught the attention of the higher ranked weres in our school. Panicking, I quickly asked Arrianna how to turn invisible. After telling me, I quickly turned invisible just as I saw Carter, Jackson, and Alex emerge from the tree line to were I was hiding. I aw their eyes change and they started to sniff around. Suddenly I heard Jackson say something. "Alpha Carter, I found her scent over here, but she's nowhere to be seen. It's like she just disappeared." I tensed as he said that. Quietly elongating my nails into claws wile keeping invisible, I climbed the tree and sat on a branch above their heads.
"Keep looking, I need to know how she did that. The nerd's never had that much coordination before. I need to know what she is." Uh-oh. Looks like someone is on to us. But I had to wonder too. How did I do that?
It's all part of being a dragon shifter. We have advanced smelling, hearing, sight, strength, coordination and speed. Even more so than a werewolf, and those are pretty impressive. Arrianna explained to me.
So if I were to hop down right now and run out of the trees, they wouldn't be able to catch me? I asked her. Nope, we're just that awesome! I chuckled at her but quickly covered my mouth when I realized that I did that out loud and 3 pairs of eyes were now pointed up in the tree I'm in at the moment. I mentally cursed myself out for being so stupid. I suddenly heard the bell ring in the distance, signaling that I needed to get to class. I quickly teleported to the girls bathroom and turned back again before someone saw me. Walking out, I saw the three boys coming back inside the door and start searching for me. Panicking in my head, I rushed to my locker and got my books before I went to class, that I unfortunately had with Carter, Jackson, and Alex.
When I reached the class room, I quickly found a seat in the back away from everyone else. The rest of the day I managed to avoid the boys. That is exactly how the rest of my day went until the last bell finally rang and I ran out of class. Skipping the orphanage, I instead went to the mountain path and went through to my special valley where I first shifted. As soon as I reached it, I hid my bag behind a bush before I shifted into my magnificent dragon, unaware of the 3 pairs of eyes on me.
Carter's P.O.V***************************************************************************************************
When I went to the cafeteria at lunch today, I immediately made my way to our table. I guess you could call us the popular's at this school, but whatever. I suddenly smelt a different scent than usual enter the cafeteria. I mind-linked my beta and third in command, Jackson and Alex, to tell them about it.
"Guys, new scent here. Keep a look out and report to me if you find anything" I told them. Looking around, I spotted the school nerd coming towards our table, probably trying to leave before she does something stupid. She must not have noticed us so I stuck my foot out to trip her. She flew forward but before she could hit she put her arms out and go into a handspring, avoiding that embarrassing situation. She then bent down to pick up her stuff when she noticed it was quiet all around her and looked up, suddenly shy. She ran out of the cafeteria and into the woods, us hot on her trail. When we finally reached a clearing she wasn't around but her scent was, like she was here, hiding from us. Jackson was saying something about her scent so I spoke my thoughts when I heard the bell ring. All of us made our way into the school, still looking for that nerd Violet, when I remembered all three of us have the next class with her. with that in mind, Jackson, Alex, and I made our way to the class room with new purpose. We would find out what she was, even if it was the last thing I do.
Jaden's P.O.V***************************************************************************************************
All three of us were flying. Blaze, Courtney, and I were in our dragon forms when we suddenly smelt the scent of a dragon shifter. It was like fire and sunshine, with a hint of earthiness in it. We all landed and walked into town. Apparently it was a small town but it was loaded with werewolves, you could most definitely smell them. Wolvington, Wow,great way to hide the werewolves here,no hunters would ever think of this. I thought sarcastically to myself.
Checking my watch, I noticed it was about 3:30 so people should be getting out of school. All of us quickly turned invisible and started walking to the mountain range we saw when flying over here. All of us climbed half way up the mountain when we spotted a large ridge jutting out a cave. All of us quickly entered and sat down before turning around just in time to see a girl shift into a giant purple dragon. I looked at everyone and they had a face of awe. The girls dragon was a beautiful purple color with green eyes. That's when I realized we had found the last dragon shifter.
We had finally found our sister.
