Chapter 16

Luke's POV:

"Ok here's the plan." I say. "Ok."  Melissa says. "Ok so what we do is we get a bucket of water, call the boys outside and dup it on Ashton's head." I say. "Sounds evil. I LOVE IT!" Melissa says. "You're so cute." I say as I lean in. She leans in to and we kiss. Just kiss. Then we pull away and I get a text from Ashton. "Meet us outside, Melissa wants to say sorry." I text Ashton. "Ok. We'll be out in a minute." Ashton texts back. "Ok." I text. "Let's go Mel." I say as I grab Melissa's hand. We run downstairs and run outside. I grab a big bucket and walk to the hose. I turn on the water and fill the bucket up. Then a few minutes later the boys are outside and I just stand behind a bush while Melissa says her 'fake' apology. I then run up and throw the water on Melissa. "HAHA! I got you babe. I was on Ashton's team the whole time." I say to Melissa. She just looks hurt. She then runs inside and runs up to her room. "What just happened?" I ask Ashton. "Did you tell her you were on her team?" He asks. "Yeah why?" I ask. "And then you dumped water on her and laughed at her and said you were on my team the whole time?" He asks ignoring my question. "Yeah why?" I ask yet again. "Well first off you lied to her, she hates when she's all alone on a team by herself, hates getting wet with clothes on, and you laughed at her. She HATES being laughed at." Ashton says. "Oh man. I didn't know." I say. "Hey it's fine. Just let her come down when she's calmed down. When I was little me and my friends did that to her and she came downstairs after a while but it was only 10 minutes. So she'll be down here soon." Ashton says as we all walk inside and sit on the couch. "I hope so. I don't like seeing her hurt." I say. "Neither do I." Ashton says.
