Chapter 36

Luke's POV:

"You have a magical kiss too Luke." Melissa says. "Does anyone else see her there or is it just me?" I ask. "Yeah she's there but she's dead Luke." Calum says. "No she's not she's right there." I say pointing to Melissa. "What the fuck are you pointing at Luke!?" Michael asks. "MELISSA! I'm fucking pointing at Melissa." I say. "No you're not. Melissa is right there, not there." Ashton says pointing to where I was pointing. Melissa stumbles back. "What the fuck you just poked her eye." I say. "Stop being a fucking asshole Luke! Do you think this is a joke that Melissa's gone!?" Ashton asks. "No." I say. I then slap myself and I check the hospital bed Melissa's in it. I then look up. Melissa's on the ceiling. I then look back down and there's TWO Melissa's. One with Angel wings and one with none. I poke at the one with Angel wings and the boys are mumbling in the background. "Why the fuck is he poking air?" Calum asks. "I'm not. Melissa's sprit is still here." I say. "No it's not. It's in Heaven where it belongs." Michael says. "Forget it. I'm going home with Melissa." I say as I walk out of the door with Melissa following behind. "Luke." Melissa says. "Yeah Mel?" I ask. "You're the only one who can see me." She says. "What why?" I ask. "You still believe that I'm here, but they think I'm gone." She says. "Oh my gosh. Wow." I say as I turn around and walk to the door faster. "Wait Luke. I'm coming over too." Melissa says as she catches up to me. I laugh and grab Melissa's hand and run to my car. We drive home and I get out of the car and then help Melissa out. She runs to the door and quickly runs to the couch to turn on the TV. "Luke hurry up." She says sadly. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I forgot to tell you that, I won't stay long. By morning, I'll already be gone." She says. "WHAT!? Why didn't you tell me before?" I ask. "I don't know." She says. "Well, let's spend time together before you leave." I say. ~8 Hours Later~ It's 8 o'clock and the boys arrived about an hour ago from 'shopping'. Melissa's still here. "Luke." She says. "Yeah Melissa?" I say. "It's time for me to go." Melissa says. "Don't leave me here. I won't survive." I say as I start to cry. "I'm sorry." She says. "No Melissa. I should be sorry." I say. "Luke it's fine. We'll be united when you're time comes. I promise that we'll be together one day." Melissa says. "I promise that I'll be there soon." I say. "I love you Luke." She says. "I love you too."  I say as she pecks my lips and slowly drifts away.......
