Daniels PoV
Emma rang an ambulance
All I could do was a stroke my dads hair.
I could see daisy walk over to me and mum whilst Emma and mark was out front waiting for the ambulance.
"Mummy what's wrong with daddy"
"He's had a little fall" my mum said with tears streaming down her face.
"Is daddy dead"I could see daisy getting upset.
Her lip came out then I could see her eyes tearing up.
"Daisy of course he's not come here"I pull daisy to my chest I may be a 11 year old boy but why my dad isn't here am the man off the house.
I brought out off my gaze when mark and Emma run in with the paramedics
They put him on a stretcher
"Can I come in he back off the ambulance please"
"If that's alright with your mum"the paramedics say
"Yes honey I'll meet you there"
"Ok mum I love you"I give her a hug and jump into the ambulance.
The hospital
They rush my dad into a room and tell me I have to wait into a waiting room I've been here for about 1 hour now my mum turned up but went to a shop down the road for some food for my dad when he wakes up.
"Are you mr barlows son"a doctor asks me
"Yeah"
"Your dad is ready and stable and wants to see you"
My face lights up
"H...he's awake??"
"Ye he awoke around 20 minutes ago we just needed to make sure he was stable"
"Oh ok can I go in??"
"Yes this way"
I follow the doctor to my dads room.
When I walk through the door he has stitches on his head and lose bandage around his ankle.
"Hey "he says weakly
"Dad am so sorry I don't mean to please forgive me please"that's when I let all my tears out
"Mate it's fine am alive ain't I ?? I can talk I can eat am perfectly fine"
"No dad if I wasn't being an idiot then non off This would off happened"
My dad pulls me into a hug
Dawns PoV
I come back from the shop and see Daniel and Gary hugging am so glad he's alright I go inside and I see Daniel drifting off
"He's had a rough day"I say making Gary jump
"Yep"he smiles "I should be out tonight"Gary says smiling
"That's was fast"
"They said am making a fast recovery am sorry I didn't get to take you out tonight"
"Oh Gary our wedding anniversary isn't for another couple of days anyway"
I cuddle up to him and lay my head on his chest
