We made it through another year
We didn't let the world bring us down
We said fuck it and moved on
When we could have very well let ourselves be shot down
When our wings became tattered
We flew again against the rapid wind
When our hearts grew heavy
We leaned on one other's shoulder and found the strength to carry on
When we hit the ground
There was always someone to pick us up
A hand to wipe our tears
When we cried
And I'm crying now
As I'm writing these lines
This is one of the most fucking true things I have ever typed
But I want you to know that I mean it when I say you two are special to me
So let's raise our cups
And let's shake the dust off our clothes
Let's go yell it from the rooftops
Because we are young
And because we have each other
But
Most of all
Because

A/N: Happy New Year everyone and I wish you all just that: be happy, and even if you feel like you're not, find a reason to be. Find a reason to wake up in the morning, a person to make you smile, the good in you not to hurt people and be there for everyone who needs you.
I am proud to announce that this very moment, fourty seven minutes after the clock chimed twelve and on new year, I am HAPPY and I want to stay for the rest of the year just the way I am now.
Nina and Mat: I want to say a huge thank you for giving me such an amazing year. I love you two very much and I just want you to know that.
