"I've got it." Aftershock muttered, handing the folder to the HYDRA Agent. He scanned it slowly, smiling.

"Perfect Aftershock." Came his accented voice. Aftershock nodded. "Now let's get out of here. Use those pretty powers of yours." Aftershock felt bile rise in her mouth. She hated the way some of the HYDRA Agents treated her, like she was a piece of meat. She was way more powerful than they would ever be. If she wanted to, Aftershock could disrupt the natural vibration of his body and turn him into a pile of jello but she wouldn't. Aftershock was a good little soldier.

Stepping over the body of a S.H.I.E.L.D Agent, Aftershock walked up to the wall of the building and pressed her palm flat against the stone. Closing her eyes, Aftershock felt the vibrations of the building and bent them to her will. The wall blew out in front of her seamlessly and the rest of the building shuddered from the sudden shock. It would remain standing but was now a little off balance.

"Let's go." The HYDRA Agent said with a toothy grin. Aftershock scowled at him as they stepped through the rubble and took off running out onto the street. People cried out in alarm as Aftershock and the Agent pushed through them. Just behind them, Aftershock could hear the S.H.I.E.L.D Agents.

"Move! Get out of the way!" They were shouting, she heard them draw their guns and begin to fire. Were they crazy? They were going to hit the pedestrians they were supposed to care about. Turning, Aftershock threw up her hand and sent a shockwave of rippling energy back at the Agents chasing them. The street immediately disintegrated into rubble and the shop windows blew out as the ground shook fiercely, sending several people to their knees.

"Idiot! No one is supposed to know!" The HYDRA Agent shouted at her as she finally caught up to him.

"Unless you want me to turn your brain into mush. I suggest you shut up." Aftershock hissed. They rounded a corner, heading into an alley but when they did, several people stood in their way, holding guns and glaring at them.

"Drop them." The man in front said and since neither Aftershock nor the HYDRA Agent were carrying weapons, she knew they weren't talking to them. As several gun shots rang out, Aftershock pushed out with her hands, sending vibrations through the air that slowed down the speed of the bullets. As they lost momentum, struggling against the current Aftershock was emitting, she dropped her hands and the bullets fell with them.

"Missed one." A single shot rang out and the HYDRA Agent dropped dead. Aftershock whirled around. The other S.H.I.E.L.D Agents had caught up. "Now.. Wil-" Aftershock cut him off by shoving his chest, and pushing out a wave that made his ribs collapse into his lungs. As he began to choke to death, from blood filling his lungs and lack of oxygen, she grabbed the file she needed back up and took off back towards the street.

"The pick up site has been compromised." Came a voice over her headset.

"Well make a new one. My Agent was just killed." Aftershock shouted back, dodging and weaving through people. She was given coordinates and a time limit. Five minutes to get to the new pick up site otherwise she would be left behind. Aftershock laughed. "You can't leave me!" She shouted. "You need me."

"Dr. Armin has been dead for years Aftershock. We don't need you as much has we don't need him anymore."

"I am the most powerful Agent you have. If I am not there in five minutes you will stay. If not, I will tear HYDRA apart myself, brick by brick." There was no reply on the other end. Aftershock booked it.

But it was almost like S.H.I.E.L.D was ten steps ahead of her because as she turned down onto a different street, she saw cop cars and S.H.I.E.L.D Agents awaiting her arrival. The locals were currently cowering in stores and behind rows of armed men and women. Aftershock came to a stop.
